I just Googled 928 checkered interior and it looks like an optical illusion, apparently it was called "pasha" pattern. Weird but cool haha
Once you do see it you will be pleased it wasn’t shown on the video. It’s one of Porsches more weird unpleasant ideas.
Guess your not a Porsche fan. Because once he said Pasha I knew exactly what he meant.
That guy is an absolute pro negotiator. Went from a genuine sounding "it's just something I'm keeping in the corner, personal collection" to gaining a 911 he already made money on once by selling it to RR, plus 10k, then cash for the Jag. The way he prised that further 10k out of RR's pocket was worthy of an Oscar.

He has umbilical cords running from him to every car he showed us. He huffed the whole time like he was a hoarder getting his shit thrown away. He was severely passionate about every little thread and dent.

I used to see 928s in junkyards all the time here in California because nobody wanted them. Not even crashed or anything but complete models, now I regret not asking the yard to sell me them.
I love that Richard is the quietest person on camera and when I turn up to hear what he is saying - music comes in and blows my speakers out. Then someone off camera is 10x louder.

As a 15 year auto detailer doing some of the craziest cars ever. The paint restore was suuuuper satisfying. Buff out oxidation makes a crazy difference. Nothing like watching an owner of a classic car back in their teenage years memories because I have their car looking better then the day they bought it new
My Orthodontist has an all original 74 Jag XJ V12 Coupe. It's metallic burgundy with a black vinyl top & tan leather interior. It comes out of storage only a few days a year & the ONLY other person who's driven it, was his son because he let him take to prom 15 or 20 years ago. I learned to drive in my brother's 67 XKE Roadster, when he came home from Viet Nam, along with his 72 MGB our Dad bought him as a "survival prize".
To all the negative comments y’all have to remember that there also try to run a business in this pandemic. With parts and other things that’s taking a long time to get there. I should know i’m in cells and am having to do pre-orders for a lot of people because we don’t have the part. Much love to Gas Monkey for still giving us a gift show.

I've had So many Porches, Audi's and V.W.s from the very late 70's and 80's. Paid so little for them and just drove them, Swapping parts between the brands. Never did anyone think they were ever going to be worth anything.

And in Australia they all never get rusty
I had the same car 1978 928 manual with the checkered interior… sold it for 6k then I later bought a 1989 black on black S4 5 speed as well sold that one for 12k.

There are no workshops in Israel that specialize only in Porsche, Mercedes or BMW, which is a pity. Auto repair only in the official garage!!! It doesn't always work well!!! Only such people can recreate the original look of the car!!! respect to you from israel✌️

Great car the 928.....I had the German European model.....the weakest point in and on the whole car is the SHIFT TUBE and Joints on ends of tube.......fast for even stock....enjoy it....lol
I have always loved the Porsche 928. They are an ugly cool. If I had to guess the 928 and even the 944 will go way up in value in the next 3-5 years. Very cool car👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥❤

I'm not sure what I'm missing. I do paint and body work and I could fix those dents and it could never be detected. You would just be making the car more appealing to the eye the same as buffing and polishing it.

You need to put a tack weld on the Porsche fenders where it’s ripping to add some strength and then pull again. Don’t add anymore weld than you need to but what you do put on can be shaped and ground down with a 2-3” flapper or die grinder.
If you weld it, then it will have the strength to pull otherwise your throwing Richards money down the fricn drain!

BEST DEAL EVER, it wasn´t either a Turbo 928 or Turbo S, so i think that was one of the most expensive 928 deals ever, Concratulation for the Porsche Guy

The front fenders are aluminium and bolt on/off so working those dents from behind was the way to do them.
This will upset people, but something in the way Richard didn’t respect that the cars were in a private collection showed his ego as less than complimentary. Just my thought so don’t hate me on it. 🍺
30yrs ago when I had my 1987 928 S2 Porsche wanted £800 for a new wing, I got a second hand one for £150 although I did get a new timing belt for £75 apparently they have the easiest fitting timing belt on any car, I dont liek the colour of this one though 👍✌

That paint looks so good ,you could have a good painter fix those spots and blend them in and only have a 3” spot of paint that’s not original and not notice.
