    You are going to love your Tacoma! I got a 2022 access cab TRD Sport and it reminds me of my KLR 650 motorcycle. It does everything well but nothing perfectly. The best part is they never quit. Take care brother!

    I have a 2022 TRD OFF-ROAD 4x4 in Lunar Rock I have the 4 door short bed. This is my 3rd Tacoma and I have to say it’s my favorite. I say that because it’s my first 4x4. The last one was a 2019 in Calvary Blue by far my favorite color! Enjoy the truck dude!

      Oooh, the Cavalry Blue is nice also! You will love the 4x4, it will take you places you could not have imagined before! This is also my 3rd Toyota truck. I went T-100, 1st gen Tundra, 3rd gen Tacoma

    I wanted the access cab but alas I had to give into my wife’s occasionally better judgment and get the double cab. I was able to acquire the ‘22 Lunar Rock TRD OR w/adv tech & premo long bed and I’m absolutely ecstatic with her. Good luck with her, she’s a bute! Thanks for sharing 🍻

      Beautiful truck HF. I contemplated the DCLB since it is virtually the same specs as my 1st gen Tundra it is replacing. I opted for the AC for shorter wheel base and with knowing I will also have a larger vehicle.

    Nice truck bro! Like the long bed 4 sure! I just picked up my 2022 6-speed manual in Blue crush metallic it's the 1st year they put that color on the Tacoma it makes it look more like a street Queen than a rugged truck but either way it's sick Mine is the basic truck no packages at all but they dressed it up a little bit with mud flaps, side steps, exhaust tip, bed lights & all weather floor mats, then I put the aluminum tonneau cover bakflip mx4 & Carhartt seat covers to protect everything up front. I hope u enjoy your new whip & have fun with her! 💪💯👍👍

      @goldsteadingoverland  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Awesome George! Congrats on your new truck! That color is pretty sharp looking and I am sure that it will treat you well! How are you liking the Carhartt seat covers?

    • @honda116969
      @honda116969 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@goldsteadingoverland they have different kinds of the seat covers the ones that I got were a little over 200 bucks they're made out of the same material as the Carhartt jeans and jackets so they're nice and rugged they fit good but not perfect they definitely don't move when you get in and out of your truck and they do fit nice and snug but then they make another pair of seat covers that fit extremely well to your seats but those are literally 500 and something bucks I was like WTF I can barely afford these $200 seat covers. I guess it just depends what your budget is if I could afford those $500 ones I would have put them in but these will protect my seats from work and shit like that right now I just got a blanket over the whole backseat but I want to get the seat covers for the backseat as well. But in my opinion I absolutely love them they're perfect for me and I would recommend them 💯%💪💪

I have a 6-speed manual now so I don't have to worry about that but damn dude these gears are so long 3rd gear hit 96 mph & did not even hit the rev limiter! Today I was racing some Acura just fucking around down Grand avenue there was no other cars I hit like 115 mph & he barely gained on me. I use Force gear still didn't hit the rev limiter again and 115 mph & I was at like 5400 RPMs the Tacoma 3.5 l top speed is 131mph that's pretty good for a midsize truck

    I would not brake in a motor like that , for the 1st 1000 miles your suppose to go easy on it , until it’s broken in , RPM shouldn’t go over 2500 for the first 400 miles or so , no highway driving unless it’s very short duration and no long periods of idling like in excess of five minutes or more and definitely no towing 1st , 1000miles otherwise you will have motor issues when it ages like burning oil

    2023 is still the same old underpowered outdated tacoma with minimal upgrades...for a 2023 truck, it has interior of a 2011 ford ranger....and shit gas mileage when gas is $6/ g in California. Look at 2023 GM canyon which is a best with a way better modern interior with a turbo engine. There's no reason to buy a 2023 tacoma when there's better models elsewhere.

    • @goldsteadingoverland
      @goldsteadingoverland  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes and No. I could have bought any of these new comparable vehicles. The reason for going with the Tacoma: Proven, Way more reliable than all others, price, parts everywhere. Mechanics know what to look for and how to work on it. This is my third Toyota truck and the last three made it past 250,000 without any major issues before I sold them. That cannot be said for my GM vehicles before those...
