    Perhaps you may know the answer. Im crazy and i run tial q and the vortech bovs together. They are on the same boost reference line. The max race bov is leaking air under boost. Im trying to figure out why.

    Did you have any surge issues with the stock maxflow BPV? Mine has only been on a week and its def surging and feels like its holding back the car right before an up shift. Just ordered the tial q 50mm

    Do you have to adjust the maxflow race bov when swapping from the race bypass valve.i have the race bypass valve on my car on 9 psi and was wondering if I could just swap the valves without adjustment.

      Depending on psi yes, I think I just slapped mine on though I can’t remember

    Just finished my ess stang setup with this bov today, ran it and did some idle revs and the slow rev to 4k for datalogging and disappointingly my maxflow race bov isnt making ANY sound at all besides a subtle and quiet regular "whoosh"... theres no high pitched whine like this video or any other video ive found of this bov... any ideas on what it could be? Did you have this issue too?

      Unfortunately no mine always made a lot of noise, i believe there is an adjustment screw on the bov that you may be able to fiddle with but you may wanna look up the instructions first.

      @JrgNthestreet after datalogging the car, I've found it really only has the high pitched whistle when letting off throttle at high rpm, but even still the sound pretty much disappears below 5k rpm. I've tested different spring tension adjustments on it and it doesn't seem to change much... what boost pressure are you running? I'm pretty low probably 7psi ish so maybe I'd need to run more boost to have more bov noise?

      Haven’t got a chance to dyno it yet but from what I’ve researched it should be in the low 600 range to the wheels

    Did you reuse the same gasket or did you use a new one? Swapping mine out on Saturday

      If I can remember I think I swapped it because the new bov came with a new gasket

    Hey I just installed a Paxton set up from beef cake racing tuned by Lund Racing few weeks back n the car feels like it doesn’t have the boost n/a cars pulling on me you think something came a loose n your car sounds great👍🏻

      I had that issue it can be one of 2 things, a vacuum leak or false knock, if your piping is touching anything it can cause false knock which will cause your car to pull timing also the quality of gas can cause false knock try some octane booster and see what happens

    Does it matter which side you install on? I thought I saw on that kit 2 similar components

      For this specific one that’s the only place but I have seen kits where there’s a block off play for the oem location and then they may come with a replacement pipe where you can mount it lower towards the intercooler .

      How long have you been driving on your supercharger now? Ever had anything serious go wrong since then? Aside from the few things you noted in your previous videos?

    Love the product just dont like the placement of the charger.. Procharger did it right but dang so expensive.

      Yeah to get a pro charger equivalent to the power of the Paxton your definitely spending a lot more money

      Nah, procharger puts a ton of strain on the crank snout. It's common for them to snap cranks. Few friends run prochargers, p1sc, d1x and f1a. Each one of them snapped their cranks. The f1a ripped the balancer, belts, alternator pulley and sent it up and punched 2 holes in the hood. Not to mention, the vortech/paxton run into less belt slip, heat soak less and cool down faster, and have better flowing intercoolers that are far more efficient. They put the time into making it work, where it seems like procharger, even though they are a quality company, put more time into making it look pretty than they should have. Hell, my vortech is still on the 6 rib setup, pushing 14psi making 820whp and no belt slip. Not doing that with a p1s or d1x procharger on a 6 rib. I do have 3 regrets with this vortech though. 1, i wish i didn't go with the quiet gears. But some days its really nice when that z06 is expecting to teach you a lesson and gets taught one instead. 2, I sometimes wish I didn't cut off the blow off flange to go with a tial flange. This tial flows insane amounts, doesn't surge/flutter, holds the boost with no problem, but its fairly quiet. 3, wishing I went turbo(s) instead. But impatient me had to rush to get some boost going in my '18 GT. Just couldn't wait a couple more weeks and go with turbos lol. Oh well, still love the vortech and it puts in the work.

      @@MrDaavee I hear ya.. I know Lethal Performance and Beefcake Racing make torque boosters for Vortech.. So you can get the full boost at lower rpm and it blows off all the extra boost. And it makes a unique noise also.. so thats a plus

      @@d3et1roi3t torque boosters? Heard something about it a long time ago, but never looked into. What exactly are they? Is it part of the tune? Needs to have a retune when installed?

      It’s a smaller pulley and wastegate setup . The smaller pulley to build boost faster and a wastegate to bleed it off at your desired amount so you could have a 15 psi pulley but bleed it off at 10psi

    Is this kit too bad in low end torque ,or it drives like stock until you hit boost?

      The low end torque isn’t that bad as it’s made out to be you can definitely still loose traction before hitting full boost I guess it depends on what setup or car you came from before because from n/a to this kit it’s fine for me

      Took about 10 minutes to get it on it’s just getting everything back together that took a little while all together maybe 35-40 minutes

      Awesome, I gotta change the oil in my blower and my bov came in today. Thanks for the information! I know on camera it doesn’t really do it justice, is it noticeably louder at idle and cruising?

      Yes! 100% louder you can hear it when raising the rpms, every time you shift, and even when taking off .

      Max flow race bov, Paxton 2200 on a 3.8 pulley , dw95 injectors, vmp bap, catless x pipe, I think at this point roush axle backs and a bunch of bmr suspension.

    Hi. I have vortech v2 on cobra 97. But i dont have bypass valve.
    I need one. So, i running 10 psi max.
    You can recommend bypass?

      Definitely, you’ll need to relieve the pressure that’s built up from the blower building boost.
