Different keys for different regions:When TV is OFF, to enter service menu use
UE & LE (European models): [INFO] [MENU] [MUTE] [POWER]
UN & UA (Asia/Pacific/USA): [MUTE] 1 8 2 [POWER]
What causes the TV to go into the request for Service Mode? Our error message says

I have a Samsung monitor model # T27a300. This procedure is not working for it. Do you know any other methods to access the menu?
Since today I have the problem, that when I plug in my Samsung UE46D5700 in the power plug then it switches on immediately, showing Source "HDMI/DVI1" in the upper left corner, but immediatly shuts down. After a few seconds the procedure starts from the beginning with no end (boot loop). I've not done any firmewareupdate or mod or anything with the TV... I plugged out all USB sticks, the SAT cable and all HDMI components. I want to do a factory reset now, but because of the immediate boot after plug in the TV I cannot open the service menu by pressing the 4 buttons. Do you have any other hint for me?

Can factory reset also restores the service menu settings (SM) to default -- in case some one messes with SM and do factory reset.

Recently there was a samsung firmware update for my TV and it seems that the tv won't output more than 2 channels. Is there anyway that you know that I can fix this myself? Their support supervisor said he will log a case and get the engineers to fix it in the next firmware release but this may take some time. I tried outputting the netflix audio from the tv through HDMI and Optical, tested both Bitstream and PCM and no luck
Hi everyone. I could really use your help. I have a Samsung UN55F6300 55" tv. I entered the service - engineering menu to enable Bluetooth for my wireless headphones. Options > Engineering Option > BT Audio change from off to on > then MRT option > BT Support change from off to on. The issue is that I accidentally changed something that messed up my HDMI 3 and 4 inputs. Now, when I have a device plugged into HDMI 3 it is grayed out and HDMI 4 is highlighted. If I select HDMI 4 it says no signal. Of course it does, I have the device plugged into HDMI 3. The same thing happens if I plug the device into HDMI 4. It appears that whatever it was that I accidentally changed resulted in the HDMI 3 and 4 inputs as being "flipped". I am so frustrated as I can't figure out what to change. I contacted Samsung support and we tried a factory reset as well as other troubleshooting but they didn't know what setting to change back. Can anyone help me with this please.

Hi ModMyGadget..Im from Mauritius..I messed up with the service menu by willing to upgrade the MI COM option in the sevice menu accidently.by doing so the tv remote stop working and it kept saying "wait" in the service menu..then i tried to turn it off using the physical bottons on the tv but dat also was unresponsive.so i finally opted to switch off the main.By doing so the tv switched off and now its dead..before it was working fine without any issue..and nw it doesnt switch on nor the sensor lights up on the tv..It would be great if u could help to revert it back to normal mode..pls help..really bad need to power the tv on.

it's possible to enable ( from the Service Menu ) some greyed out options on my Samsung JU6500 tv.
For example, when i'm using HDMI 1 renamed as PC, i can't access some options - COLOR / TINT / COLOUR SPACE / etc
I wish i could, because i want to have a nice readable text with much vivid colors

I have a Samsung ln-t3242h TV. Was working fine till lost sound due to a playfull play of a little kid with buttons on TV set.
Took the TV set to a repairman . He claimed, main board was gone. checked and changed main board with another similar board, showed my board was fine. somehow got the sound back but
Picture became purple and with shadowy. He admitted to mess up the factory codes on the. T.con board. Will you or anyone else , be able to help me to find and reprogram the T.con board?
