BMW won the isle of man tt last year which is arguably a greater achievement considering the risk. Edit: Seems like they've won the Superbike and Supersport tt since 2014.
@fq eagles BMW have shown that they can win races, so yes, they have proven that they can make a fast and agile bike. They also have the funding to become a real championship contender. There are plenty of phenomenal riders in Moto 2 that can join the team. Put a seasoned veteran in to develop the bike along with a rookie who is keen to show his talent.

My favorite rider in wsbk. Wish he could get into Yamaha MotoGP soon when they get some more power and reliability at that power increase. 2019-2020 was Yamaha dropping off. We need it back.
Would be nice to have (for one weekend only) a works SBK team competing with the normal MotoGP schedule, would put in perspective how far (or close) the prototypes are from the street bikes.

MotoGP demands a huge financial investment..we are talking about $7-10M for just one bike and they already set a benchmark in WSBK so no need to enter GP to step up their reputation
How can you mess up such a beautyfull track clip..? Motogp is like: film the back,knees and chest of the rider...! Why not a full lap with a front camera so the people actually can see the track,corners,breaking points,elevation levels instead of switching between so many cameras where you cant see nothing?!
The back camera is good around the braking point, when the rider starts moving off the bike. Other than that forward facing is the best, and if the rider wouldn't mind a chin mounted camera even better because it'll follow the head movement.
It would be a much better event IF... The Circuit owners would do what has been needed for a few years now and repave the entire surface. The MotoGp Riders have called it "DANGEROUS" in it's current condition. 🤨
Terrible video. Because we do not need to see the back of the rider. We do not need the constant editing to different viewpoints. We do not need to hear what someone thinks about the bike or track. Just put a camera in front and let us see the track from a rider's perspective. Let us hear the engine! We can figure it out from there....
It would be nice to see just how the front suspension was working while showing the track forward! Yes, the dialog was more about the BMW than the condition of the track, which the safety bike could have shown, given better camera positioning. Good idea, however, below average execution by MotoGP production...
Hope so considering that Suzuki left. Would be awesome to see another manufacturer join as there is only Ducati, Aprilia, Yamaha and KTM. Triumph, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and BMW should try motogp again

Bmw has similar power to the v 4 in wsbk but it lacks agility to take on over takes, this year it needs atleast 1 podium
if it's not able to win in wsbk, it's gonna be used as a safety bike.
