I love how you excluded white or beige. Those colors are great & modern & have movement & texture as you say. Beautiful palette & perfect for a child, teen or young adult. An heirloom in the making.👍👍👍

Thank you so much for not playing music as you talk. Its so distracting for me as I am learning how to quilt. Love this color way.

It was when you added in the orange it all came together and popped. This is going to be something special. Hope you bring us along as you make it!
For anybody on the fence out there, the stashing club fabrics have been amazing!

Glad you love Stashin' with Stephanie! And yes, it is so much better with the whole rainbow. I'll be using the quilt in a few more videos, so you'll see it in bits and pieces.

I love how you talked through the process. It will help me a lot. Looking forward to seeing the butterfly quilt.

I am one of those people that stresses way too much about choosing fabrics for a quilt. I tend to "play it safe" so this is a great tutorial to help with the process. Can't wait to see the quilt done and get your new book!

This a great bundle of fat quarters, I love the yellows color! I’m working on a full size quilt for my teen daughter while on lock down.... your little girl is gonna love this quilt. Really like the way you describe the reason you chose each fat block! Love the butterfly 🦋 theme

"Glacier" by TulaPink/Free Spirit...IS a light mint! Found out the hard way...bought some sight unseen online as I was hoping it was more 'blue' family!...which is how my computer screen was showing it! Hahahaha! Oh well...I will use it somewhere...and it was only 1 metre...I bought 5 different colors...it was just fun to shop and buy something that wasn't t.p., soap, or food!

It'll be in my next book, but you'll see it in bits and pieces over the next few weeks as I work on it to meet my deadline.

It’s gets harder to choose colors the more I go thru the stack! I usually end up with the morning gone still unsure! Clos

As a new quilter, looking at colors would have been move useful to see the actual pattern [i.e. butterflies] to be able to visualize where you were going. Interesting method.

I love ho you chose your colors and they are beautiful. I wish this was a learned ability but I fear there is more than that. Involved. Looking forward to seeing the butterflies. Did i miss the announcement? Did you have a girl or boy. What’s the name?

I had a girl and her name is Lily. She is seven weeks old and doesn't have a quilt yet, even though her mom owns a quilt shop and is a quilting instructor, so she definitely needs one asap!

I’d like to see this without a fat quarter bundle. Different fabric lines.

Where's the completed quilt? Without seeing the pattern, it's difficult to picture why you're pulling fabric!
