Love this and sooo easy with many different cutting and placement options! This pattern will make terrific charity quilts! Quick and you don’t have to think too much, lol! Thank you so much for sharing! New subscriber.
Thank you Diane! In many ways it is a very simple pattern, but with all of the options for layout it really turns out so interesting and the end result is stunning! ❤️ Thank you for watching!
Thank you thank you thank you for sharing this quilt tutorial!! I missed the original posting, but you were standing in front of it during your QAYG video and my jaw dropped! As much as I enjoyed the QAYG video, I really was curious about this one. I have a few ideas in mind for creating this quilt....will let you know how it goes. ❣
what a happy pattern, quick, easy, and beautiful. My fat quarters like my scraps seem to multiply on there own, this is an awesome scrap buster, thank you
I love all these ideas😅. Check out Marshall's in Batesville, AR. They manufacture the material there and sell to public and wholesale and ship anywhere. Very reasonable cloth and large selection. They also make a non- repeating pattern 108 inch for backings with the coordinating 45 inch bolt. Love that place
Thank you for sharing this pattern! I loved the brightly colored one so much! It was like the bit of spring I want right now. I might make one quilt as you go. I need a quilt to practice fmq fillers and backgrounds on & this one looks like it would be fun to do with all the sections of different widths on a large block. Thanks again! Have a great week!
Love it, I have lots of fat quarters. I could watch you all day again today. Your voice is so calming and the way you teach. I’m going to ask my daughter to fix me aEtsy acct.
This is so simple and striking! You could also cut the block perpendicular to the lines, flip once piece, and sew it back together so the pattern is split and offfset. You’d have to square the block again but it would look really cool. Thanks for sharing this with us. 😀
Hey there! I just read through your blog post and loved your instructions. So clear and concise, and the pattern is beautiful! Love how you get a large quilt from only twelve blocks.♥️Thanks so much, Fallon!!♥️
@@sewbeitquilts Oh good, looking forward to it! I would love to use up twelve fat quarters without a lot of small tedious piecing. Just straight sewing.:) Thanks again!!
I’ve heard you should sew from different ends when sewing strips because they will get wonky. Have you run into that? I don’t really understand the logic in it but always wonderedvery cool pattern!
You do not need to delete. I will try to look at the pattern again today to see if I can better help you with it. I don’t remember the exact details anymore. Hopefully by leaving the comment up others who work with flying geese may have some suggestions I haven’t thought of.
@@cherylcurlee3279 down at the bottom of the post there should be a more button to click. Once clicked it should give you an option to print. I hope that helps
Hi there! This is my own design but I did share the details in written form in my blog here: createbeautifulquilts.com/2023/03/12/fat-quarter-slice-a-free-quilt-pattern/
Its just a fake temporary tattoo. When me and my husband got engaged tattoos on the ring finger were really popular. I really wanted one, but was too chicken. I randomly brought it back up and my husband found this fake one that was exactly what I wanted... an infinity symbol. So he got it so I could see if it were something I would actually want to commit to.

They really do multiply! Maybe missing socks turn into fat quarters somehow?
Upcycled socks!

Thanks for the tip!
Great pattern Fallon and it turns out very elegant looking with the neutrals. The colorful one is just fun! Thanks! ❤
Thank you so much Annette! It is so fun seeing how different a quilt can look using the same pattern but different fabrics!
So Creative! I oove the simplicity of the quilt, but it looks so amazing. Great video.
I love this idea....so many possibilities. I especially like your quilt using the neutral fabric 🤩. Thank you for the video 😊👍💕

Love how great this pattern looks for something that’s so easy! Thanks for doing all the maths for us. 😍
Glad you like it! It really is such an easy idea but having all the dimensions ready to go makes it very helpful.

@@susanonealsmith8434 Yes! That was the idea! And there is still a lot of interest in the quilt!
What if you cut them in half and twisted and tuned them. I think I might try that
That sounds like a great idea! I think it would turn out beautiful!
I’ve heard you should sew from different ends when sewing strips because they will get wonky. Have you run into that? I don’t really understand the logic in it but always wonderedvery cool pattern!
I have heard the same! But when I tried doing that it really turned out wonky for me. I stick to sewing on the same side.
Thank you for watching! ❤
Which one do you recommend doing

This may be a dumb question but what do you mean by starch? Do you just iron with spray starch?
Not a dumb question at all. I just spray my fabric with a spray starch then iron.
How much backing fabric?
I believe I purchased 5 yards and used the extra for binding!
Do you offer a pdf of the pattern?
I do have a blog post with all of the cutting notes and layout ideas. You are able to print the blog post to keep all the information close by.

Hi Fallon, is that a tatoo on your finger and if so, why?
Its just a fake temporary tattoo. When me and my husband got engaged tattoos on the ring finger were really popular. I really wanted one, but was too chicken.
