My all time favorite is the microtech Dirac! I guess I prefer the otf switch in the middle instead of the side, like the placement of the Benchmade infidel. 🔪 ❤️
I love the Microtech Delta Dirac. For the money, I much prefer a 'more than' than a 'less than' 3.5 inch blade. And the side opener I like better than the spine opener. It's more like the Infidel, and way better.
I'm finding myself carrying folding autos over OTFs lately. I like the placement of the switch on the Dirac over the Ultratech/Troodon. I was carrying the Stitch as my go-to, but I think the Socom Elite auto has taken over as my favorite. I'm excited to try the new versions of the Troodon and the Hera. I've heard they are noticeably smoother, and I like the grip tape looking scales over the lines on the current Troodon and LUDT scales.
Howdy, you seem like you have experience and knowledge with microtech. I’m currently looking for a microtech and i have 2 in mind. 1st is ironically the Auto socom elite, then the makora signature series. What do you recommend?.
EDCandLace: Out of the stitch and msi I had and sold the following day because of both having HRCs in the 58s and sharpening about 50 of them in the last 3 months... they are SOFT, it's soft enough that it is noticeably gummy on the stones. Plus the action on both of them is mushy as hell. I received both of mine in the same day, had them poked later that day and sold the next morning lol. If you buy a knife to use and expect serviceable edge retention then you will not be happy.
All are solid choices! My personal favorite is the new Gen 3 Troodon. The size, ergonomics, and the insanely smooth action with the "dual-fuel" drive chain made it irresistible 😅 - Cameraman Shane
I like the UTX-85 II.
Combat Troodon in my opinion is the best EDC OTF.
Getting one. Which blade shape would you recommend?
@@Marinaman7double edge 🙌
@@Marinaman7get the double edge just be careful, I’ve knicked my fingers a couple times 😂

Same here
UTX 85, Ultratech, and LUDT are my faves.

I love my titanium gray and black d/e Mini Troodon! I’m in California so I am limited on otf choices.
The micro combat troodon is my most used knife. It’s so convenient for opening boxes or cutting rope at work
The one that matches My outfit,😂 I 💕 my wraith tanto 🗡️
I love The Mini Troodon

The hera is actually really good too
Ultra tech vs Dirac delta vs gen 3 troodon?
Which one should I buy

Where and how much
Makora 2 and combat troodon for me thanks
The exocet is the best box cutter ever
Forgot the Exocet :(
I like my Benchmade inf3del and shootout way better than my microtech. The microtwch feels cheap😊
