@@Mr-kn6uksame as 07 said. I have the black bladed FRN MSI with born on date of 11/2023. Gave it some decent spine whacks and it was solid as a rock
MT has updated the Ram locks. The mechanism is longer now to engage more material along the blade tang.
@@jeremydoucette6352 Cheers mate! Im keen as for the stitch but a lot of reviews have stopped me. Do you know what date ish it was when they fixed the lock? Have you had any probs with the HRC?
Cheers Cobber
All the best from Western Australia!!
Or as we say, all the best from Shamesville!!
To much talking. Show the knives, please.
People may not like the political climate they created, but…….Make a hell of a knife though. And they are super nice quality. Can’t say I have an issue with any micro tech I’ve got. Makes it real hard to turn your back on them.
Hera II or cypher II please someone help a brother out
Give me a ludt in a ram lock
How much rattling noise do these new MiceoTechs make, versus a Hawk Deadlock?
Respectfully dude deadlocks are the only production otf ever made with no blade play, you could expect atleast a little from any other knife no matter the quality
Well theres the SOG Pentagon but otherwise all OTFs have a little play by design and the pentagon is a far cry from Deadlock overall quality.
@jkstdstang I didn't actually know the pentagon didn't have play
They have more blade play and rattle than the previous generation ones did. I was surprised when I picked up the new scarab gen 3. I might pass on any more unless they figure out how to make it better than the ones before it and not just look better 😮
I had some pocket lint render a MT OTF completely useless one time, was the last time. Maybe woulda happened to any OTF but it didn’t, it happened to my expensive MT. Overrated, I would rather get one from his son over at Heretic knives. However is see they are making these a little more serviceable since they know that a tiny bit of debris or lint will make it useless. I don’t rely on any OTF alone anymore.. Hard to beat a good auto but can never replace a good lock blade or fixed blade.
