    When the family at microtech and marfione customs put in the effort to bring you unsurpassed quality having a real microtech is not just having a brand name knife it is being part of a family. The people that produce these counterfeits do not care about quality or what Anthony and Susan put forth in there lives to bring you such quality. I would personally head up a counterfeit department just for microtech to go after these counterfeiters if they did not have one already. MICROTECH LOYALTY!

    • @isaakjunkeer785

      Majority of people that buy knockoff microtechs know they are fake. They buy them because it’s $40 and it looks almost identical to real ones. Also people just use them as fancy box openers. They know they blade steel is trash and it doesn’t keep an edge. Still cost $40 vs $350! I could buy a fake micro tech and a real gun for the price of one real microtech. Just sayin! Real is always better than fake👍

    • @DanielCaddSatori
      @DanielCaddSatori 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@isaakjunkeer785 Understandable if they do not want to invest in quality for a real microtech and just want a paper weight. The true issue is those counterfeiters using the name microtech and copyright infringement not to mention if they hold patents on anything. I could picture microtech as stand up of a company as they are that if every counterfeiter was apprehended and microtech could take all the money the counterfeiters got they wouldn't take it but tell them give it to the people you sold this crap to. I still want to see Ray cut a counterfeit in half.... I might just do it myself (smiles)

      @Member Berry You do what you do, buddy. The chances you actually will have to use a knife in a defense situation it probably just as slim. Also, most microtechs come with a lanyard hole where you can wrist wrap the knife. Furthermore, if you're even in a actually defense situation and police are involved, you can get the knife after the investigation is done. True, all knives can fail, but here's a story. My buddy bought a new 22 pistol for around 280-300 and thought it was a good deal to save money. That thing jammed on him almost every shot. You get what you pay for. Like I said, do you, buddy. But also the other point was making people can go buy a cheaper OTF or knives from other manufacturers, just not clones/counterfeits. Thanks for the comment, though. Be safe.

      Not really. It literally costs 100 bucks to make an otf that’s reliable, but they sell it for endless amounts over 300. I’m sorry, but a knife with 440C like a lightning otf will last a couple months in edge without sharpening, if you use it heavily. And blade play? Literally the same. Its known that double action otf knives have it heavy, even microtech. I sent mine back and kept my lightning elite otf, and if I want something really reliable, I grab my s&w m&p single action otf (no blade play) that costed 50 bucks. Microtech is a rip 👎

What he meant was; "don't buy used Microtechs because we can't make money on those." Then there's their desire to threaten sellers with removing their products if they sell other U.S. OTF brands.

    Yeah let those who are using fakes and that think they're okay handle and use an authentic microtech lol I bet you anything they'll be ordering themselves one or probably more 🤣 I own a few and absolutely love each and every one of them! Nothing cuts and hold up like a true microtech will, now if we can talk Tony into testing out some magnacut that would be sweet lol or even using some different steel choices like cruwear or S90V would make an already amazing product even more incredible

    I had been taken a few times in the past. The thing is I didn’t get any discounts, i paid full msrp. Some of these counterfeit look almost like the real deal, most of the time they mess up on the packaging.

    Met Ray at Bladeshow TX 2023 at the MT booth while handling a few blades and own a few MTs in my collection. Most recent is a Socom Bravo mini in route I’m super excited about as I have wanted a Socom mini since the aluminum handled versions. Should be the perfect size for EDC and hopefully MT will offer more manual models in similar sizes. Loved the part where Ray Rockwell tested his old faithful Socom EDC! Wasn’t expecting that!

    The microtech ones are the best of that there is no doubt, but they are too expensive, I know that quality and price go hand in hand but I am a collector and they are prohibitive at the moment.

    I got a couple knock-offs from Wish, there's a bunch on there. $10-$20 bucks, it's nuts!
    I'm not staking my life on them or anything, it's just for fun and to open the mail or packages. Don't need $400 to open the mail, but it's still fun to use an otf!
    The fake is truly a masterpiece. Laser details, heft, strong springs, no wiggle, super sharp. Same security screws, etching, glass breaker, detailed pocket clip and even oem looking box and paperwork. My latest one even came with a little security screw tool for opening it.
    It would be nice if there were any clues we could have to check if they are knockoff. For example how would anyone know even if they DID want to buy a used one?

    I can’t believe people actually complain about the price of Microtech knives. American labor is high-quality and the craftsman are paid what they’re worth. As a result you get a durable, heirloom grade knife that will be always be there when you need it. I speak from experience-my Ultratech saved my life once.
