What is the part # on the bushing driver kit for the 6l80 I'm fixing to rebuild my transmission my self and I'm going to start buying the special tools ahead of time
hi Jeff, thanks for watching...There's no part number associated with that bushing driver kit but if you search eBay for '6L80 Bushing Drivers', it or a similar set should come up...You also will likely need to buy the seal driver tool kit for the front pump/bell housing separately as it won't come with the other bushing driver set.
Thanks for watching, James...The 3-5-R bearing installer tool number is DT47866. The bearing driver tool number for the planetary needle bearing is DT47857.
Hi Darryl, thank you for watching...Are you referring to the pump checking tool or the tool used to air check the 3-5-R drum? Neither are modified stators however the 3-5-R tool basically acts as a stator of sorts, mimicking the pump's stator.
Hi Adam, unfortunately I cannot beyond suggesting you call Transstar to see if they stock them or know anyone in their retailer network who does. They seem to be out of stock/unavailable everywhere as you've seen.
Good on you for buying one (too many DYIers don't for some reason) - You'll likely frequently use it for at least the next 20 years; it will pay for itself hundreds of times over during that period. I know mine has...
@@nickstransmissions correct, im doing my own car for first and maybe last time, but I figured the press could serve me a lifetime for other projects anyways 🤷♂️ $200 down the drain! 😎
Thank you for taking the time to explain the 6L80 and for helping me with my questions today!
You're welcome, man and thank you so much for the support!!!

What is the size on the threads in the output shaft for the 6l90
Hi Chris, they are the same as the 6L80's.
Great video man.
Thanks, man!

Can you say what brand your 6L80 holding fixture is? You don't mention it in the video.
I purchased off eBay. Seller's handle is Superiormachineandfabllc. Was ~$325.00 shipped.
@@nickstransmissions Thank you very much

Are all of these tools interchangeable to the 6L90?
Yep, they work on all the 6L transmissions.
Can you do a 68rfe video?
I will once I get one in.
👍💪
Thanks, Procharedmopar.
Same for 6L50?
Yes - those tools work on all '6L' transmissions.
