    I don't know if I missed this but when you resample the amen break, you can scroll to the right in the record menu and have recording mode set to sync and pick how many bars you want. This way you will not need to edit the sample to get a perfect loop. It will do it for you.

      @TUBEDIGGA  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks David, yes I should have mentioned this. It’s the best way for resampling rhythmic material that you need to be precise. I think I skipped it as I sample a lot of external audio so it’s set to manual the majority of the time.

      @TUBEDIGGA  27 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @@jeanbeezy It certainly is. I think the cpu going through the roof when using the cut down versions of NI VSTi’s didn’t help its reputation. It should have been promoted as a resampler as that is where its real power is. Hopefully it’ll get updated soon following MPC 3.

      @@TUBEDIGGA ... for exactly that reason, i bought it like 2 years after the initial release, when it was considered as stable, which i would say it is now. NI actually announced 3.0 in their forums for later this year - lets see if it really happens. i do hope they keep the core workflow.

    • @jeanbeezy
      @jeanbeezy 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@TUBEDIGGA one of the reasons why i bought it like 2 years after the initial release. im almost certain they will release new hardware along maschine 3.0 (confirmed by NI in their forum). i do hope they keep the core workflow and just add or improve things. what i like about NI's approach to hardware is, that they actually want to create an instrument that is enjoyable to play. they care about the layout, the buttons, how it feels etc. you dont get that from a lot of companys anymore.

      I’ve just reordered one after selling it a year or so ago. It’s one of the best resamplers out there. It’s effects and synths are excellent at generating sound, you just have to get good at recognising what to capture from them and bake them down as samples. Then the cpu isn’t an issue.

      The auto sampler is a gamechanger - Now I can go into "contoller mode" and use non Maschine+ instruments, autosample them into the Mascine+ - not only can you get thm in now, but they will be considerably less taxing on the CPU :)@@TUBEDIGGA

    Can you step automate the start points, as in plock style to get more defined increments ?

    • @TUBEDIGGA
      @TUBEDIGGA  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No but you can use the STEP SEQUENCER and enter specific percentage values for the start parameter. I did it the other day on a breakbeat and basically divided 100 by 16 which is 6.25, so I set the start point of pad 2 onwards in increments of 6.25 (so pad 3 was 13, pad 4 was 19.25 etc). You just press the pad relating to the step and adjust the start point parameter to set the value..

    Awesome video! Trying to figure out of its possible to export stems with performance effects? I arranged a few songs in maschine and now want to mix them in logic. The only problem is with some automations that include performance effects. It seems I would have to export the master to keep the effects as is.

    Thanks for the vid bro! Question : do you know if it's possible to move an event within the group grid? Similar to using the pitch knob in the piano roll but on the group grid. I chop breaks into 16s on a dedicated group so I can process each hit. So naturally in the software it's as easy with a mouse to add variation and stutter. So far I can't see a means of moving hits up or down just l/r. Am I missing something?

    Hi man.On point video......What you think of the filters?compared to Live/One?And whats your opinion after some time with it?thanx brah.

    • @TUBEDIGGA
      @TUBEDIGGA  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Very good, the effects definitely have some extra punch, the filter per pad can be set to EQ mode which gives your sounds some great clarity, definition and separation. The workflow is very different from the MPC so I’m not half as quick on it when it comes to sequencing but when it clicks I think it’ll be a very powerful device. Not as loud as the MPC but I think that’s on purpose to make room for the effects, which as said can really make your mix come alive. The transient shaper is excellent.

      @mattyg499 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @jellebolijnlive
      @jellebolijnlive 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TUBEDIGGA Great vid! I was wondering if you could share a bit more vision on the output levels of the MPC live vs the Maschine+. Is it really softer or does the output of the M+ just have a bit of headroom for the effects. Having a dry shootout, does the MPC live really adds some extra character on its output? Also when summing all the sounds in the groups for example, do you notice a difference in 'glue' of some sort that's different?

    • @TUBEDIGGA
      @TUBEDIGGA  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jellebolijnlive The answer your your first question is above, yes it seems to me at least that the MPC is louder from the get go, and the Maschine is quieter to accommodate the effects which are powerful. Your last question is a good one, id say the effects on Maschine help glue the sounds together better, particularly the EQ insert effect and the transient. The MPC takes a bit more tweaking to achieve a glued together sound. Overall I prefer the workflow of MPC and can finish more tracks but that may be just because I have much more experience with them.

    Hmm, interesting "machine" 😊 I like to play instruments, and therefore create realistic sounding instrument i can enjoy. A process that have worked out.... somewhat okay, but not to satisfaction.
    Maybe i need my self to finally buy some Tube Digger courses.
    The audio quality of the MPC have so far not really been to my full happiness, so i wonder how Machine+ stacks up from the point of realistic sounding instruments (drums, bas, guitarr, rhodes etc).
    As a Patrion, do you do realistic sounding instrument banks or is it just like 99% of the Akai libraries, because thats the thing with it, launches or synthts only. Im at the point that i would kill for realistic instruments on ny MPC Live.
    I get a lof music created with the Live, its a machine for many situations in life to be creative and write songs, being on battery and all, i just wish i could get more out of it so i dont need to rebuild songs on the PC with "real plugins".
