Read my mind with this video, I love the Lock State feature and just remembered about it! So slept on. Some features I'd love to see are:
-labeling lock states instead of just numbers
-linking them to patterns and scenes. (Just as you select a pattern to correspond with scene, so could lock states)
    -

yep agree very great idea will be amazing

naming n' coloring would be a second big plus.....and at time of writing since i've been sleeping on locked states until just recently.....being able to thoroughly automate within scenes....(i hear there's a way, but i've not discovered yet)

I think the arrange window needs to get upgraded. Ideas view is already good enough in terms of selecting patterns for scenes. Arrangement should be able to record everything that happens in the maschine when you jam with it the same as ableton does with its session view into arrangement. Saving all lock state morphing and every little thing we do like muting a sound randomly or dropping levels for a group, sends etc. it would complete Maschine’s journey imo. Cool video btw!

Long time listener first time caller. This video is incredible; Jeremy really shows off the possibilities and creates a killer jam at the end that uses exactly the tools he taught us how to use. Top notch. Ought to do more vids with this here guy, easily one of the best Maschine vids I’ve seen.

Clearly like a lot of other people watching this I’d totally forgotten about the lock states page. Think I saw you or someone else mention it in a video a long time ago and I always meant to come back to investigate. I just got into the habit of using the standard lock state and ideas view to edit filters and effects, mutes etc before jumping back to the main beat. The shift+lock page is SOOO much better for that!! Duh! Good lesson to never rest on what you know but keep exploring. Great video as always.

This is possible if you connect a midi cable from the midi output of the maschine to the midi input, and then route the midi from a particular group to trigger lock states which means you can record that pattern.. Blezz beats has a video on this if I’m not mistaken.

the price has gone down like 400 bucks..plus no updates to actually program massive fm8 etc..
the gui is not there to even see what knob means what....still unfinished product it seems..don’t get me wrong I enjoy the plus..but you
kinda did wrong to the cats that bought the maschine for 1500 when the damn thing wasn’t even
ready to work right..thank you for fixing bugs or whatever but the new way of selling products kinda sucks..
you released a unfinished product at 1500..add three updates and drop the price..that’s kinda messed up..
