Sheez I didn’t even know that maschine did this. I’d switch to ableton for my warping needs. With live its like “of course you want the tempo of your sample to match...” with maschine it’s like “ if you, for some strange reason, want your tempo to match, we’ve provided you with an easy 41 step plan...” Thanks bro for helping us out.

It’s honestly kind of sad that a software designed to be a sampler like maschine needs something like serato sample to actually be effective. I started on maschine but moved to Ableton now and it’s 10x easier working with samples now

Hey Jeff, this is Felix from Germany. I just wanna give you some feedback and wanna let you know that I Love your Videos. Im using Maschine now for like 4 years and tried out logic and fl20 but no other daw can give me that nice workflow like Maschine dose. Your videos helped me a lot. Cause there such quit informations like the stretch Funktion in sampling mode that I didn’t know and are just hd informations. I really love to make beats. After my ten to five I went in my studio and start making beats. The chords Funktion helped me out a lot in the beginning meanwhile I just play but my own *but only in scale mode* it’s so much better to play chords and melodies by his own then just drawing notes in. Also the ability to just load up a kit with 16 sounds and also patterns is amazing for quick sessions. But one of the best things I love are the expansions. I literally don’t use any other drum kits that I bought online I’m only using Maschine expansions. But let’s come back to the real topic. You are doing great work and I really like you and your videos they are such helpful and triggers me every time to set up a new project and try to do my own thing with the things that U showed us. Keep going with your work and videos and maybe we can create some nice content in the future together and talk about our different technics and Workflows. But that’s future sound. Have a nice day 🙏🏼 thanks for reading!

And here I was, 2 or 3 days ago, looking for more sampling concepts, particularly timestretching. When to use, when not to use, how to use, etc. A more hands on approach to sampling, listening sounds, different kinds os samples. Something more organic and practical. I almost started doing it in Ableton because it feels easier. The first thing that came to mind when I was searching was spamming you to convince you to make a video about this. The "W" button on the top right of your pattern timeline in the software. Grab the W and hold it down and slide it into another pad. Done. I have a sampler which allows you to change the pitch of a sample without changing the tempo and automatically map the sample across a keyboard so you can play the sample (polyphonically) in any pitch without the tempo changing. The method to do this isn't described in the instructions as far as I know but it can be done. It's perhaps unique in it's ability to do that though. It's a roland sampler with variphrase tech if I remember the terminology correctly.

    Hi Jeff!
Great work! This is so helpful!
How do you do the resampling in 26:00 min on the maschine? You have only showed it in the software. Thanks so far.

Thanks for this tutorial! Very helpful. What I don´t like is that when I switch between the two modules the sound level of the sampe changes. It does sound much louder and powerful in the audio module than in the sample mode, wich is annoying when you try to arrange the song later

Hi Jef! Thank you so much for your very helpfully contents! Just one question about your „hot tip“ at the time stamp 26:25: Is there an equal way for Maschine+ to drag the waveform symbol to a new track? Greetings from Austria!

Great video, thank you. Subbed! I've used an Ensoniq ASR10 for years, so I thought Maschine would be easy to learn....how wrong I was lol. This video really helped, thanks👍(I'm still buying Serato Sample though 😄)

kontact allows you to play samples in the same tempo which doesnt change the tune.
