Superb video as always. Easier is NOT always better. There's a satisfaction in finding work arounds. I do everything on my comp, from drawing, to video editing, to watching tutorials, so sometimes I just want to go in my bedroom or anywhere that's not a computer and make some music.
Great video as usual. I recently finished up Blezz’s Maschine Noobs course and recommend it highly to anyone that is still clicking around the Maschine UI.
Maschine Plus have everything you don't need anything else on the studio practically hehehe and that is amazing because it have it all in one i Just love Maschine Plus and also this one make you learn away from the computer and that is great, I saw it more like a instrument to learn to play that have a learning curve than just a Groovebox that many people say because they don't have idea, i just love it and thousands time more than the Akai MPC's, but ones u know how it works everything Maschine is super Powerful Instrument and Tool 💪🏻 i love my son my Maschine and then my wife hahaha😁 and now with the Jam OMG simple Amazing together is the perfect marriage totally recommended highly recommend😃 if you can make still with one jam don't think about it 😉😊🤘🏻 Peace a Positive Vibes to All of You Maschine Lovers and Haters love for you 😜🤘🏻👍🏻✌🏻
Jef, I was cracking up when I saw the clip of you outside with the gas powered generator cause I can totally relate! I’ve honestly contemplated buying one so I could create some projects outside. Thanks as always for the maschine instructional vids, I’ve learned pretty much all I know about maschine from watching your vids!
Thank you Jef for explaining how to load Kontakt patches and for the reference to the pianobook site. I loaded up several this afternoon and they sound awesome!
Very nice video as usual. Thanks for all these tips. I would be interested if you did a video specifically on note/sequence editing workflow (zooming in/out, selecting notes, copying, deleting, moving them in pitch or in timeline). It's the part where I'm still getting a bit frustrated not having a mouse or a touch screen on the M+.
Great seeing Kontakt working on this and it is fantastic seeing you use some of the Pianobook libraries. Amazing that there are 100s of free sample libraries on the site and even though most are made by amateurs and often beginners to sampling, they sound amazing.
Bro, you are a life savior. I bought several lessons to learn maschine with no success. I watch all of your lessons and tips, and now I manipulate maschine with ease for free. I don't know if you are selling any product. if not, I hope you take donation for so much valuable information.

man this is high level tutorial crazy need to watch 10 times lol thanks for all this very good tips can you do some tutorial to create a project with recording true guitar acoustic and electric plus voices in Machine MK3/plus and more about the clip mode please thanks
Great 👍🏻 video Bro you always explain everything very good and for advancers but beginners with a little bit of idea I think they will catch it because your explanations are great thanks I just pass from MK3 to plus and bought a Jam and they are just amazing together, thanks for all your videos please keep going with the videos using both Maschine Plus and Jam, thanks on advance ,🤗👍🏻✌🏻 And one question is possible to pass the expansion kits from MK3 from the computer to the microcard of the plus and use them? Or any possibilitys to get free new expansions more for techno and electronic music please, thanks in advance 🤗👍🏻✌🏻✌🏻🤘🏻 and keep going as I say great videos and exceptional explained thanks 🙏🏻😊
Oh dang, that’s a tough one! I’d have to say a few... Les Baxter’s Space Escapade, Jean Michel Jarre Les Chants Magnetics, Art Farmer Modern Art, and Ramsey Lewis The Sound of Christmas!! (Which he signed for me!!)
You always have great stuff on working Maschine! I’ve been using Maschine for a little over 4 years, but I always watch your vids, because almost always you have a little workflow nugget I haven’t found or thought of yet. This one is all gold! I got my M+ in Nov. and I’ve written 250 tracks on it so far. And everything you discussed in this vid were my main pain points. What do you know about the ripcord issue? I was using Ripcord successfully for 3 1/2 months, and then the unit kept powering off on me. A replacement ripcord is on its way, but taking forever, but in the meantime I’ve heard these little murmurs that there might be issues... but nothing really concrete.
What about a rob papen nks preset or something like lion by unfiltered audio it shows when connected to computer but that would make this thing perfect
Great video, was really helpful, but I got a question? what do u think about serrate sampler? I saw a couple videos and the workflow looks faster but I never tried, did u tried before on maschine?
There's another free source that I'd like to see you explore via video. There is a giant collection of single cycle waveforms on github. Far too many to actually use them all; and they barely take any storage. It's kind of perfect for the plus.
Hey @jeff gibbons, when you say “you need to have kontakt 6 to load user patches” do you mean you have to have the full paid for liscence, ( circa £300 here in the UK) to load any user patches OR that the patches must have been created using kontakt 6? I assume it’s the former. If so seems like a strange restriction on NIs part given a version of kontakt is already on the M+. I have a M+ but no other NI products. I couldn’t get the free piano samples you mentioned to load but as you mentioned other users have been able to load kontakt patches generally. It’s very confusing, lol
hey jef great work love all your videos on mashine plus etc..quick question im having a problem in where when im changing my scenes manualy there not starting from 1 would you know what would be causeing that??
But Didn’t elektron get this stuff sorted out ten years ago with the octatrack? Why are we still getting all those limitations and cumbersome workarounds? Somebody help me out.
Hey well done that patch trick works for me but only some short time after some minutes after load the patched instrument to group what was playable in group and as instrument the samples dissapear and cant get back til you load the patch new ? it seems to erase the samples somehow without any warning also if you save the project and load it the samples arent there even showing in the padfieled named it has no sount until you load it new somebody has a glue about this or have same problem or did i forget something to do after loading the patch some special save the patch is on sd card i also tryed anothe sd card with same problem
Hey Jef i am curious if you managed that the Pianobook patches stay in the maschine + standalone cause mine looses the sound after 20 mins and also not show up with sound after saving the group with sound as i fear it is a licence problem cause it behaves like a demo version in kontakt somehow even these patches are free ones
Hey Jef! Thanks so much for all your content! Please start selling swag or open a patreon or something. I owe you more than just youtube views! The ask: I want to turn samples into synths. So take my daughter laughing and strech the audio and make it into a virtual instrument that can be played in keyboard mode. I know this would be easy to do in Kontakt on the computer but I would much rather do it on Maschine+, even if it's not as feature rich as full Kontakt. Also, serious about that swag or Patreon thing. Hell, sell some private lessons! I'll buy!
