- The state attorney in Maddie Soto's murder and sexual abuse case has released nearly 900 pages of documents that contain new details about the investigation. The details include information about Maddie's relationship with her mother and what her mother told detectives about the last time that she saw her. Detectives also outline what Maddie's friends told detectives about her relationship with her mother's boyfriend, Stephan Sterns. Sterns is accused of sexually abusing Maddie and murdering her. The mom knew and was jealous of Maddie. My birth mother was like that with me. Her husband was always having me sit on his lap and she always gave me dirty looks and that she would get me later. (by the way, I am Chinese, yes this happens in Asian families too). I ran away at 15 and never went back. I am 61 now. I have no contact with anyone from that family. Jen should be held accountable, at least for letting a man sleep with her daughter.
It happens to all genders and all races. It has nothing to do with that whatsoever, just the type of person someone is.

I’ve seen way too many cases where the mom chooses the live in boyfriend over the child. No way am I having a man move in with me if I have a child. We would have to be dating a long time, long enough to be in love and fully trust him. So many women meet a guy and he’s moved in the next day. It’s insane. You’re supposed to protect your children.
A true friend of Stephans says he always bragged about being into younger girls and that he was very socially awkward. Maddies teachers noted she was always tired and several times in a deep sleep in the middle of class. Stephan was on Ativan, an anti anxiety medication that makes you VERY drowsy. (Benzos) He drugged her for years, since age 9. And proceeded to do what he did. Jen was desperate for affection, so she allowed it all. She was very pathetic and insecure.
Have you talked to the police? You said you knew Maddie was being drugged. Please share that information with authorities.
I believe he made money off of material from her and possibly others. He had *a lot* of toys and gadgets that were limited edition or rare. The type of collection used to lure kids and get them to keep secrets.

Maddie didnt have her own room, was sent out of Jens room to sleep with Sterns, had a makeshift bedroom in the living room where it was a shared space w roommates, mom didnt plan nor attend her bday party, she had told her that she was going to disown her and kick her out of the house as soon as she was 18 or 19, she did not grieve, cry, or even look remotely worried when she was reporting her missing. @@marcymarand1059 Some symptoms are really indistinguishable. Everyone's different and not everyone has the same symptoms, but CPTSD is VERY commonly misdiagnosed as ADHD. Major executive functioning issues, low self esteem, emotional disregulation, unable to deal with thoughts without layers of distraction- for some individuals these symptoms appear in both disorders

I have this horrible feeling that not only did the mother know what was going on, but she was in a very sick way jealous of her daughter. As a mother, if any of my children went missing or knew of the abuse, I’d be making sure that I call the appropriate authorities. Jen Soto is no mother and I wish people didn’t say that she is a mother. A real mother protects her children from monsters like this demon.
