- In the weeks before her arrest, Claudia Hernandez posted a video on TH-cam, remembering her 3-year-old daughter Arely. The child died during an alleged exorcism performed by Hernandez, her brother, and her father, inside a makeshift church in San Jose, California. Prosecutors laid out what an investigation revealed in order to push the case forward to trial. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber has the horrific details of what Arely went through in the last 24 hours of her life.

My opinion. The " episode" of the three year old acting out was before bedtime... You know, the bed your UNCLE sleeps in next to you!!! Gross. I think he was doing something to this poor baby and that's why the " normally happy" toddler had a meltdown. It wasnt possession, it was a cry for help.

I listened to this without watching. I thought "maybe her daughter was autistic? That's why they said she was always screaming? And they were so ignorant they got her to die thinking she was possessed by a demon?"

Our judicial system is absolutely horrendous. When will be start actually punishing people based around the severity of their crime accordingly. I remember when this happened and watching those uploads of the mom just casually talking about her daughter (that she just had a hand in killing) and how the baby girl was being "different" and "possessed" and then in the next breath would be giggling about something!?
