Also in her earlier interview, she shed an actress’s tears and making statements to enlist sympathy as she stated although her and her ex-husband didn’t always see eye to eye they both loved their children dearly-so this is how she shows her love is to end their father’s life knowing her has two other children from his current marriage. This woman feels entitled to take a life because she thinks she deserves to have life go her way or else everyone has to pay? So devastating for these children and their families. RIP

I wonder how this feels. To know that this is probably the last time you will wear normal clothes. Normal shoes. The last time you would sit on your porch. The last time you will tell your kids goodbye and leave your house. Was it worth it?

Her mom and dad own Stampin Up in Utah, they are well off, it's a big Mormon family so lots of people to look after the kids. I hope they do well after all of this.

I think this should have been strategized to have the kids taken out of the area of the arrest and not subject to more trauma.
Grandma was more concerned about her daughter than her own grandchildren. It’s very odd she sat down outside and didn’t take them in another room while all this went on. Instead they sent the little girl on a hunt for her mothers jeans.

Prosecutors are seeking the DP in his case, and plan to seek it in Washington. (I so hope Washington state doesn't object to the DP or they could screw up sending her back to FL. The judge did deny her bail).
Hopefully the lawyers mommy hires wont' have anything to work with to try to get her off on a technicality.
Oh no, Washington state is notoriously bad at giving weak sentences to heinous people. Or, they spend years and millions of dollars to convict a self-confessed killer simply because they can't figure out if they should go for the DP or not. Washington state is probably the best state in the union (for the killer) to be prosecuted for homicide, whether it's first degree or not.@@kristend344

Nothing dramatic about this at all. Her folks are loaded, and bought her that house. She's been prepped by her lawyers knowing this day was coming, and knowing how to behave. Fact is, the lawyers would have voluntarily surrendered her and billed accordingly. But, then we wouldn't have a perp walk.

Please don't prosecute this case in Washington. I've heard too many recent stories where they either give laughable plea deals (after law enforcement busts their humps to solve the case), or they spend years and millions because they can't figure out if they should go for the DP or not. It seems to me that Washington state -- for the killer -- is probably the best state in the union to be prosecuted for homicide. Because you probably won't spend more than 25 years in prison (e.g. the killers of Kassanndra Cantrell and Mackenzie Cowell). You'd have to be as heinous as Michele Anderson and Joseph McEnroe to get life without parole -- and spendthrift King County spent over $12 million over 8 YEARS to get those convictions.

@@FandCCD Of course my heart hurts for everyone, but my point being that often times the criminal's family is not thought of in a compassionate way, I'm just saying as a mother myself, my heart breaks for how it must feel for your kid to do something so horrible, and yet your heart breaks for them... I once heard someone say that having kids is like having pieces of your heart breaking off and literally walking around, and Boy if that isnt true!! You love your kids so much it hurts sometimes, so to be the mother of someone who committed such a heinous crime, yet have to reconcile that with your unconditional love that you cant turn off, must be devastating to say the very least. So my heart breaks for that horrible situation to be in.

@@JP-sg8cl Her mother has been bailing her out. Hired her a private lawyer more than a year ago. Bought her a house on the other side of the country in a state that doesn't support the DP. (and a gov so far left, I can imagine him refusing to extradite her as long as the DP is on the table). Her mother has been supporting her keeping the children away from Jared's family. Their half siblings, their other grandparents, their aunts and uncles. Her mother posted a statement before the funeral about how horrible Jared's family are they wouldn't allow the children to attend (an absolute lie).
