      Thanks Chris! First time building the kit and it was so fun to do. I always loved the 69 GTO style but after messing with this, the 66 grew on me! GTO’s are legends.

    I looked at pretty much 4 Cars we hen Shopping for my First Car. A 65 Mustang almost 2X the money I had. It was super nice. The 66 GTO Convertible was $600 but it was thrashed. Bald tire bad breaks. Top Rotted. Muffkers blown out from Backfires it was a Mess. Pristine 66 Valliant Red 273 V8. Then I bought 69 Roadrunner in Q5. Seafom Turquoise. 383 4 speed $700. Ot was immaculate

      The Roadrunner w as s so Fun it was 1978. I bought a 2nd 69 Roadrunner for my 2 nd car. The 65 Mustang that got away was heart breaking. It had a 68 hood was painted the New 76 T-Bird Emeralg Green metallic w gold Metalflake. Gold Fog accents on ot in the Recesses of hood and Sides Chrome Cragars. He'd been offered $4,500 & turned ot down 8 months prior a real Steal for $1,200. I could've driven it straight to California and sold it Quick for $7-8,000 easily

      @@TI4438 I believe the kit gave both decal options of either white or black side panels. I like the white but worry about the gold bleeding thru.

    Did you use any clear coat on the body such as the Pledge you used on the interior?

    • @MyHobbyWorkShop
      @MyHobbyWorkShop  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I also used the pledge as the clear coat. You can put it all over the model and it won’t hurt anything, and it self levels. Only thing I didn’t put it on were the tires because I didn’t want them shiny.

    • @MyHobbyWorkShop
      @MyHobbyWorkShop  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@michaelsmith1926 yes sir! If you do use the pledge, when you put it on remember, it will self level. Once you put it on now matter how heavy, don’t mess with it. You can put it all over the glass, etc. it may look like there’s a film covering it... just leave it be. Put a coat on and walk away. It will dry and come out crystal clear. Hope this helps.
