In my old model book they used bendy straws for the hoses and used thread to do plug wires.

69 500 for NASCAR don't have the concave back window or hide away head lights ) but they mostly All had a Himi / the General Lee ? Had a 440 magnum ) Bo Duke told me that))) lXl

Nice looking barn find Chevy. The salt method works good. Nice tutorial on you builve a few of the original issues from about 1990. I find it to be a decent kit. Its possible the later re-releases had issues.

You used flat clear on the chrome parts? And that’s all you did.

The Huntley police is based on the city of Huntley in Illinois. This is the way their squad cars looked in the early 2000's. There's a picture online of a 2000's Intrepid with this exact look. Very cool. I lived in Huntley for years, so I plan on building this kit! Your build looks great!

Frankly I was disappointed, no attempt to get the correct stance of the car, ‘the hood don't fit right so it looks a bit wonky’ Jesus, fix it so it doesn't... Does not set a good example to younger modellers

I’ve been trying for a little over a year now to find a kit for Dale Sr.’s 2000 Talladega No Bull 5 76th win. I have the diecast of the raced version & a clean version that went into the Hall of Fame. I was satisfied until a little over a year ago I came across a finished model kit of a non raced version of the No Bull 5 76th win car. It had the superspeedway package & it looked so incredible! I’ve never wanted a nascar collectible that wasn’t diecast as badly as I want this one. Occasionally I might find a 2001 or a 99 Dale sr, but I’ve not been able to find anyone with Sr win #76 any suggestions of places to look online that I may not have thought of or know about would be appreciated massively. BTW, great work! 👍

The white lights that were properly bounded in the front on the box are takedown lights this car is not equipped with an alley light on the a pillar and the lights you put on the back actually supposed to properly be on the front

They’re great kits! I’ve been building them myself since the mid seventies. I chop the cage, front and rear firewalls, and trim the suspension down a little, just to make them look more like the cars that ran at my local track back then. Now, I’m really hooked on the new Salvino’s modified, from Wes’s Model Car Corner. I can’t buy enough of them! They’re a little bit harder to build, but you’re left with a really awesome car when you’re done.

Great job, the only thing you missed was the rocker panels. They should have been rusted with a few holes in them like you would have found with a real car. Gonna have to try this kit. Thanks.........

Dodge charger 500 had that back window also the Daytona had that window I have 3 of the original models
