I think Phil has been the spiritual holder of the vision of unity for the Grateful Dead. Watch the Tucker interview with Phil for an excellent discussion of it.
Thanks, Ted Silverman!!! I though this was just one song. Thank you for letting me see Phil play one last time. When I was a kid, The Grateful Dead were this little beautiful uncorrupted bit of the sixties that inspired so many of us. really, no bs. Thanks man
I'm glad Phil's last show could be at this lovely bayside venue. I don't have the words to describe how important his music has been to my life. We've lost a giant.
@@Petequinn741 Stu sounds more relaxed. Ms. Peck should be front & center: that “Donna” wail in Playin’ was legit. Stanley is a magical instrumentalist, I hope he stays. Lebo on slide was cool, more of that please. Molo solid as always. Grahame doing some nice lil rhythm chops as well as his fret runs. Jason played well, but I think having him on fiddle and Holly on keys makes me happier. Maybe both together as a piano / organ / synth round robin. I can only imagine how enchanting it would have been with Mikaela on harp. Stay strong Phil, bring this show to Tico Time!…
Thank you Phil. And thank you Cody for giving the world another 26 years with Phil.
RIP to the legend. Thanks for all of it Phil.
A national treasure has passed.. Your memory will never fade away, thanks for the music love and energy!
Thank you Phil. May the four winds roll you safely home. ❤️
Such a long, long time to be gone
And a short time to be there
Ted- who would have known this show would have been his last. So glad to have been there and that you captured the show in its entirety 🙏
Phil is a national treasure.
Uh, I wouldn't go that far
Thanks for all the good times, Phil, you brought so much light into this world, RIP
RIP Phil, that path is for your steps alone. You'll continue to bring me happiness until I'm following my path and hopefully beyond..✌️

Thank you Phil for a great life you shared🎉!
This was the closest to an old time Dead show that I have been to. Been to many Dead and Co, and Wolf Brothers shows.

Sad day, got a tear in my eye.
RIP Phil-
I don't play bass guitar but Phil's playing always looked/sounded quite exquisite on that 6-string.
