Rest in peace Phil, I will miss you terribly! Wow, all the years I have listened to your awesome playing. How could I ever thank you, Jerry, Bob and the Gang, enough?
Phil we are so fortunate to have you still with us on this planet. I was watching on TH-cam 2-14-1986, you and Brent were singing Keep on growing” Phil you looked like you were having a blast.
I would drive just over 5 hrs to get to the capitol, every March and October just to hear that bass. I would crash in my car at the beach up in Connecticut. I still get that flutter of excitement when I hear this and think of it. Thank you so much, I am so grateful..
It’s so delightful and so informative to hear these folks (also Mses Bluhm, Bowling, Davis, and Peck when they’re there, as well as Messrs Allen and whoever else I’m forgetting) educate us about creating music and show us their bliss in playing it!
trying hear phil play with Stanley this happen with Bill frisell Dan lebowitz on acoustic guitar is unnecessary have love Phil giving all for a stage to play on
