Thank you for posting this. Bless your energy Phil! Grooving till the end!!!! Grateful to have shared time and space with you and your bands over the years. "ain't no time for hate" may love always prevail : )
Thanks for posting this. It was an electric day. I'm glad all those cats got to share the stage with Phil...everyone wants to play with him. Grateful we've had Phil in our ears for almost 60 years, teaching us how to keep searchin for the sound. Thanks, Lesh, you made a big, positive difference in our lives, and you worked hard at being so creative. Music truly does heal, and you have a Ph.D. in that department.
I wanted him stick around a bit longer too. 😢 I miss him so. Just hearing his voice again while I'm writing this comment breaks me up. This was a special day, I just didn't know how special.
Just found out about his passing...and i am in a state of shock...not necessarily unexpected...time flies, and there will be more stars we love who will leave us... these uploads and the memories of the shows we attended...will be with us forever...THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC PHIL!! GO DOWN THE ROAD, FEELING GOOD YOU MADE US HAPPY!!
I used to roller skate home from elementary school singing somewhere over the rainbow...probably the most free i felt until i started dancing to the dead. Thank you phil for creating a dance space that allowed such freedom of spirit and bring one with the music. Forever grateful ❤
Phil, we didn't know each other and unfortunately I never met you, but you were always very close to me, your joy of playing, your sound and your loving nature will accompany me forever, grateful love to you, lots of strength to your family and All Deadheads all over the world, I always play the bass in loving memory of you, rest in peace brother in spirit😢
Thanks for the feed had to see some recent Phil- RIP. He died with his boots on just like the rest of the band, and Lemmy too, another killer bassist ⚡️
In a world of copy cats, Phil was truly unique. In a world of deception, Phil was the Truth. Thanks for all the love, and you know our love will not fade away❤
I didn't realize that terrapin crossroads still existed wow I might get to go there after All thanks Phil for showing up and showing us All a really good time Ronnie Ron Gainesville FL 😮

Musica hermosa y espiritual, satisface tenuemente y nos hace sentir mas frescos y vivos, gracias a todos estos maravillosos musicos y en especial a PHIL may he rest in power aho.
I was actually buying and was at my house playing the first nice real bass I got when I heard the news, I have had a squire fretless but I got a player pro plus for a great deal, been waiting weeks to get it and the exact time I pick it up and by when I get home I found out the news. Thank you Phil for inspiring me to want to play more and pick up bass more, I already play guitar and drums, little keyboard and bass but now I can really play and learn a whole lot more without 3 inch action
What a bittersweet performance, they are all going about it as if was just another gig, but you can tell they are savoring it, knowing it might be the last crowd Phil plays to live. Seems like a lot of adversity, from sound, to weather, to Phil's obvious struggle. Phil was part of my life for over 50 years, I will miss him.
Sad i can tell Phil is having a hard time hes constantly in the wrong note and he seems to know it looking at the neck and its not doing what he is trying to do. Rough beginning seemed to get better for him as he warmed up. Sad I love this man gonna miss him bad. Jerrys solos were way off at the end as well the mind is headed out of this realm. Rest with Jesus Phil and thanks for the pure amazement. I got about 40 years of it!!
@@clovergrass9439 Your comment is toxic! Why would you even care about Stanley's personal life. Why was she invited? Because she's a phenomenal and legendary player. And probably a good person too. Phil seems to have that opinion.
@@sg1770 well, to be fair, he moves his fingers around well and his Basslines seem to be well-intended... so I'm wondering if it's a hearing issue? He's not using in ear monitors and I noticed the wrong note he's hitting was the same wrong note over ... that leads me to believe that it's a hearing issue, maybe in a certain frequency or maybe just due to the setup on stage. I was watching him do one of those Clubhouse things really recently, and he was playing just fine but the same thing happened, there would be a certain wrong note he kept hitting. Now, I know he likes to push boundaries and what not, but I don't think that's what it was. And this seems to be a really recent development, I watched some of his shows like his birthday show and he was killing it. So it makes me wonder if it's a hearing issue not necessarily an oldness/geezing issues.
We Love you, dear Phil. Your memory will always be a blessing 💙
Thank you for this. And thank you Phil, for all the years combined. Love you brother.

Listening to Phil's bass really closely during Jack Straw and hearing a consistently played wrong/sour note. Odd. Never heard him do that before.
He is not the same player as a few years ago, but great to see him He is looking frail these days
