1991 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Twin Turbo Custom

    This gorgeous 1991 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Custom is the ultimate street machine which is powered by a Twin Turbo V8 w/ 650HP and 6-speed manual transmission. As the clean Car Fax report indicates this car spent its entire life in Alabama and has no an accidents or damage reported. With its excellent ownership history and rust free body it was the perfect candidate for custom build. The vision of the build was to create the ultimate third generation Camaro which would stand apart from the rest of its siblings. The build was completed in 2014 and only has 475 miles. Since completion it’s primarily been used as a show vehicle. The body was completely taken to taken to bare metal including the engine compartment. It retains the 91-92 Z28 OEM hood, ground effects and rear spoiler which adds character to previous 85-90 Iroc-Z28 models. It was re-finished in its original color of Dark Red Metallic which dresses it beautifully. The paint work is higher quality then the factory paint was. It doesn’t have the orange peel that was found in the factory paint and the clear coat is much more brilliant. The exterior was recently detailed to a show quality shine. Like most vehicles it does have a few minor imperfections in the clear coat which are pointed out in the video provided by MS CLASSIC CARS. All of the glass and seals throughout were replaced new. Some exterior custom appointments include HID headlights, LED parking lights, custom marker lights, antenna and Audi door handles. The car has a great stance on new Centerline Rev polished wheels that are 18x8 on the front and 18x9.5 on the rear. The wheels are wrapped with Sumitomo HTR tires that are 245-45-18 on the front and 275-40-18 on the rear. The like new gray and black interior was completely gone through. Some of the trim pieces were restored and some were replaced such as the headliner, dash cover, door panels, console and carpeting. The car is equipped with factory installed power mirrors, power locks, power windows and air conditioning that all is in working order. The trunk compartment has an LED light and houses the subwoofer box, fire extinguisher and the relocated battery. The battery has a battery tender that is included. The entire engine compartment was painted and is highly detailed throughout. The backside of the hood was also re-painted and looks beautiful. All of the inner fender bolts are stainless and look the part. All of the wiring was replaced and covered throughout for a clean appearance. The car is powered by a Twin Turbo V8 w/ 650HP V8 engine. It was dyno tested on September 22, 2021 can be seen in the video provided by MS CLASSIC CARS. As the dyno sheet that’s included documents it put down 557 HP at the rear tires with 13.67 pounds of boost. The engine starts and runs excellent. The engine is a Chevrolet 5.3L 327 LS based V8 with a LS6 performance camshaft, LS1 intake manifold, fuel rails and ECM. Its equipped high volume oil pump, 60 pound fuel injectors and Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator. The engine has been outfitted with intercooled Garrett 58mm twin turbos. It has custom stainless steel down pipes and high flow air intake system. Some of the upgraded parts include twin Tial waste gates, two Walbro 255 LPH fuel pumps, aluminum intercooler lines and stainless steel braided fuel lines. The engine is cooled by an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans and is covered by a custom aluminum radiator support cover. The engine breathes through custom stainless headers and a custom stainless steel exhaust system with dual Magnaflow mufflers. The exhaust sounds sweet exiting the dual twin tips that look amazing from the rear. The engine is coupled to a Tremec T56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission that works excellent. It’s equipped with a Spec stage 3 clutch and flywheel that is smooth to operate. The power is transferred to the pavement through the HD driveshaft and rebuilt POSI rear end. The rear end has a Tru-Trac differential, 31 spline axles, Motive 3.73 gears and black Ultimate 7.5 cover. The undercarriage is also highly detailed throughout. The floors were re-finished in gray primer which is very similar to the factory original paint. Everything was restored or replaced such as the power steering system, braking system, fuel system and suspension components. It’s equipped with power four wheel disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. Some of the suspension upgrades include Spohn sub frame connectors, Spohn torque arm, Spohn rear control arms, Eibach springs, Monroe shocks and Founders Performance front and rear sway bars. This car is very unique and a blast to drive!

    as i watched this video , i said exactly what you do just 10 seconds before. def looks like a high end shop everything on this car looks like it was all laid out and decided. thats why is turned out as a complete 100% high end custom. i grew up a 4 time fox body guy. 2 vortech blown 2 n/a and these were my arch enemy. now days id be honored to drive such a incredible build. awesome!!!! hope you get top dollar, it sure deserves it.

    I don't care what people say. I want this car and only 3rd gen Camaro. Upgraded with a turbo... Can't help myself I will find a way to afford such a nice example of Camaro like this maybe in blue or teal. Great job on this car!

    I gotta know! Where do those A/C lines go?? Looks like they run along the frame rail to the back of the car. Did they relocate the condenser?? Doing a similar build and I’m DYING to know how they ran that! Please help!

    I have been debating about buying those rims for about a month but couldn’t decide if they would look good on my 3rd gen camaro, i was literally looking at them rn so i got on TH-cam & the first video that i see when i open it is this 3rd gen with the rims ive been debating on getting..... they watching us😳😳😳😳

    Are the brakes simply original? Just new rotors? If so, a bit small for that power? Noticed original master....

      The car is equipped with power four wheel disc brakes with slotted rotors. It actually stops very well. If the new owner feels like they want even stronger stopping power they can easily be upgraded at a reasonable price with all things considered.

      @@walterrezendes4507 Hood insulation is installed from the factory to damper noise from the engine compartment, in reality all it does is hold in heat that the engine and headers put out. It was the first thing I scrapped on my 89 IROC decades ago. Still got her and she is still running just fine without the hood insulation LOL.

      Totally agree get them 4th gens outta there you can find more leather seats on these cars in 91/92….some 90’s kinda rare and 89’s are 1/2 cloth 1/2 leather…

      Yes, you read correct. Unless you tub 3rd gens, having a beefy wheel is difficult to fit.

    Why only 659 hp being twin turbo charged. You can get that with motor and blower.

    Honestly I think that would be more appealing without the turbos. Their complexity just worries me. Also, that exhaust looks sketch with how it’s hose clamped together and the one pipe crosses the other. The paint is killer though and really pops.
