I've got an 89 IROC, no where near stock, but after watching this vid I realised that tubbing the rear has got to be my next project. That and a T56 swap.
Super cool your daughter put in work on the car! I would bet money that since she watched all the work that took place building the car she will be a lot less likely to tear it up. Awesome looking ride! Great job!
I sure miss my 84 z28. It was white 305 h.o. with the relatively rare 5 speed. Had the deluxe interior, also very rare. blue with the "CAMARO" script on the front and rear seats. Someone told me it was called a "top hat" edition
So how big of a tire did you get underneath the back of that thing really nice looking car I got a 92 RS heritage over a low miles on it only got 24,000 miles on it but I want to put some aftermarket rims and tires on it
I got a 1990 car rs. Was driving it. All of a sudden a puff of black smoke coming from my exhaust. It stopped won't crank. Took car to mechanic. I thought it was my timing chain. He said it was something electrical. But what.?
Beautiful car! It's a shame that you put all that new and modern stuff on it but didn't put an LS engine in it. I don't care if "everyone is doing LS swaps", the LS engine is superior to the older gen SBC engines in every way. You can't even use the "I wanted to keep it period correct" argument because you went with a carburator on it and carb wasn't even an option in 1989. You either had Throttle Body Injection or Tuned Port Injection.
Just say you dont know how to build a high power engine yourself 😂 and don’t come with that crap about “its cheaper to LS” cause no its not man 😂 myself, my dad and many guys around us build small/big block chevy engines and we push high numbers for a fraction of the price especially now since sbc go for a chump change man. Now im in now way saying one is better than the other but i just find it funny when ppl swear that LS is the only way to go and i would say yeah if you’re boring.
@@1980sSinaloense LS engine are capable of being built for high power and they'll last longer than an old school SBC/BBC because they're just engineered better. That's documented fact not just an opinion. I've built my fair share of SBC/BBC in my day and I'll never go back now that I've experienced the versatility and longevity of LS engines.
@@pjstartv6798 maybe the owner didn't want a LS? Just because everyone is doing them doesn't mean this car has to have one. This restored RS will do just fine with the OG style SBC.
This is the right way to restore a 3 rd h
Gen!!👍
The Camaro came out beautifully especially the mini tub nice job 👍

Beautiful car, you did an excellent job restoring it. My only critique is that with the 3.90 gears, I would have gone with a 6 speed manual.
I would have ditched the dove grey interior. Nice build. Like the wheel wells being opened up.
Great work, i love the custom touches! credit to all involved
Third gen Camaros not gonna get cheaper, get 'em now...
beautiful ride nice job love the color 3rd gen is my favorite era
Im like wtf. Regarding how it handle. Awesome build. 👌 wow.
Great super Dad and hope you and family have eternal happiness
One small comment I would have done it in manual
Everything is beautiful and perfect
Beautiful car
So cool. I had a 91 RS as my 2nd car in 97. 305 RS with a 5 speed. Loved that car. Keep good tread on rear tires, more important than front. DAMHIK.
This was a car I had at 18, Burgundy automatic 305 V8 T tops & grey cloth interior.
Awesome car
Wow great work its one of the best restorations i have seen
3rd gens are so cool
Beautiful, absolutely beautiful! Good job!

Good to ç a married couple wrenching on a car. Then take paint to a body shop & mechanical shop wires. But cut

Makes me smile...subscribed and liked
What size rims and tires are you running!
Nice car! Size wheel and tires?
Nice build. What wheels did you use?
Good on you Baby,❤
Padre e hija trabajando juntos en un auto...q puede salir mal?💞
The whole video is a picture slideshow? Lame.
Was the interior that clean? Or did you buy new interior parts?

18x9 275/35/R18 is a good all the way around unless you want to go like a 18x10.5 305/30/R18 in the rear for a staggered look

How much dose something like this cost to build I have the same one and would like to get it done
👍👌👍👌
👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍😍😍😍😍😍
No commentary and not really passing on any information I found this to be utterly useless.
Well someone sure has a case of the mondays now dont they...
