I can still relate to my JEE exam two years back when introduced that the exam will be conducted two times a year. But I feel sorry for you guys. The government has not taken a good step regarding this exam.

No need to worry, there’s still the BMAT and there are actually a few unis that have a lower emphasis on the UCAT. Plus most people, myself included when I applied to med school, always walk out of the UCAT feeling disappointed but at the end of the day the UCAT is one of many factors; as long as you apply to uni that don’t highly prioritise a high UCAT (the general consensus being a high is ~ 700+, with very high being ~750+, and 800+ being exceptional, though remember that average UCAT scores tend to go down every year).
