I wish this video was done in the order of of what has the strongest protection to be used as the base, then go on to what can be used afterwards on top of each layer. E.g: Base protection (Liquid Wax), Quick wax top-up (Spray Wax) then Quick Detailer for in-between washes (Spray Detailer) That means Red car then green car then yellow car.
I am using hybrid ceramic sprey wax and I found if you applie it on clean dry paint and wipe it off with a hi quality microfiber cloth it gives way more water betting and sheeting, plus it stays on way more then when I applied it wet, base on my experience.
I've been using it as a drying aid once every 2 to 4 washes and the detailer as necessary. I almost gave up on this until I tried this method. Great results.
I put mine on wet, as in the green car scenario, but before I rinse it off, I use a microfibre cloth to really spread it around each panel, never squeezing the microbfibre towel so it retains loads of product, only takes 3-5 mins to run round the entire car. The rinse off. I beilive this keeps much more product on the car.
They just want you to spend your money all the time on this shit so they invent the least effective method to have you waste $$$ in the name of “efficiency”. You can either spray this shit on everytime you dry and waste bottles and bottles of this stuff or do it properly and have long lasting results. But they will always want you to use the method that wastes the product the most while still getting results… btw tried the detailer and the gloss is absolutely amazing, the paint would eat my attention even if a better car was next to me.
Amazing products. I recently applied Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax and then the detailing for maintenance and it just Amazing protection, gloss and durability.
Have been using the ceramic detailer after cleaning my car and drying it with a microfiber towel. Of course there was still a but of wetness on the car since my towels don’t 100% dry the car in the shade. Applied the detailer for the first time and worked well. But after seeing this I might be using the ceramic wax next time after a clay session and use the detailer when I need it spotless right before an event. And the Ceramic Wet Wash after a quick clean session on the go
I really like the hybrid ceramic wax and the hybrid ceramic detailer. I have the hybrid ceramic liquid wax too now but have not had chance to use it yet. The only thing i would say is I would not bother with the spray on and rinse off method with the hybrid ceramic wax spray. Spray it on and wipe it down to spread it then dry off, you may need to put a bit more effort in but spraying on and rinsing off to me is a total waste especially when it's £21 in Halfords or if you dont mind the wait and hassle of Amazon its £19.
I find that these products work best when they're put on top of Meguiar's Ultimate product line. I find nothing impressive about the Meguiars Ceramic Spray but the wax and the detailer seems to be sufficient.
I used the ceramic spray when i first came out and i found that even after months of not washing, it was still protecting the paint and water beading after washing.
Brilliant! So use the ceramic clay kit first, then the ceramic liquid wax. Finally, use the ceramic spray wax after each wash and the ceramic detail spray as needed? I'm asking because I purchased them all and wanted to get the best use out of them. Thank you!
Apologies for a late question but I was reading comments from many TH-cam Detailers saying that you can dilute the Hybrid Ceramic Wax to make yourself a Hybrid Ceramic Detailer. Many of these online "product testers" are suggesting it as a way to make your dollar go further but, wouldn't the addition of water activate the proprietary chemicals immediately, reducing and minimising their effect when sprayed onto vehicle panel?
Can you use the Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Detailer if you have not previously applied any wax? I know you mention its more for maintenance but I am looking for something to supplement the Ultimate Waterless Wash & Wax
If you have a different type of wax on your car can you still top up with the ceramic spray wax?? Say if I use the 3-1 wax or the ultimate wax can I use the ceramic on top of that?? Thanks
Hello, Thanks for the video. What if I jumped a step and used ceramic wax as my base layer. Now when should I use liquid wax now that I am out of cycle. Also, when you say the ceramic wax boost levels of protection, how much boosting are we talking about? Thank you
Very helpful! Cause I was wondering what the difference were in the products! I actually returned the green detailer of ceramic, cause I had no idea what it was used or incorporated for! Now, I wish that I had it! Since it can be used in an already waxed protected car as a maintenance product!💪 So thanks for the video🤞🙏
Each shampoo offers something different. The Ultimate will provide a layer of wax protection, the Gold Class contains conditioners to help water sheet away from the car and the NXT contains softeners that break down hard water particles.
JTSBMW cool I’ll probably invest in some gold class anyway then wait for a call from the bank saying my credit card has been stolen and used at Meguiars 😂
Hi, Please I purchased both Ceramic spray Wax and detailer so I have some confuses regarding use. First I have polished the car and add Maguires Liquid wax and Gold class paste wax. After the first car wash with protection, I have added Ceramix spray wax which is excellent and I have a very good result. Now my question in my case when to use ceramic Detailer and when Ceramic spray Wax further on. Many thanks for your answer
Does anyone know if i can use Meguiars Ultimate Polish, followed by the Ceramic Liquid Wax, and Ceramic Detailer? In that order? Also, do you do one entire layer of Liquid Wax and then one of the Detailer and one more layer of liquid wax?
No? why would you do that? The ceramic detailer is there to clean light dust & fingerprints from the paint at like a car show or similar. You simply do one coat of the hybrid ceramic liquid wax and off you go!
Can I use the Ceramic Wax on top of my Ultimate Wax? Would it give me more protection and gloss? Or is that a waste of product and should I just skip to Ceramic Wax after polishing?
you absolutely can! it will bond to any pre existing protection. The Ultimate will give you the best boost in gloss but the Hybrid will give the longest lasting protection
The professional ceramic coatings are way too superior than these DIY super quick applications. But if you have a brand new car, wash it and apply these hybrid ceramic products and most importantly whenever you wipe your car, wipe it with a very good quality soft microfiber cloth, you will be good to go. Just give your car 20 minutes a day and save a lot of money. If you have an old car with a lot of swirl marks and you can't get rid of the swirl marks yourself, then you can go to a detailer and get the cheapest 1 layer ceramic coating or waxing done. Make sure they get rid of the swirl marks first. The aim is to get rid of the swirl marks. Then take care of your car as above. PS: Even if you get a good ceramic coating done but wipe/clean your car with a bad cloth, you will end up getting swirl marks even if you have a ceramic coating and hence you will be back to square one. These products are amazing provided you start with a car that doesn't have much swirl marks.
@@nasdoc1 i am gonna do this on my new car after 2 months , because the clear coat provided by the car companies last 3-4 months i guess , so 2 months is a good time , and i will wash it once in two weeks(with car shampoo) , And just rinse it with water and then dry it off with microfiber in between the washes to get rid of dust and debris and no scratches , After 2 months i will buy the liquid wax and then put the detailer as topper after applying the wax and after washes , And do u think I need to buy ceramic wash and wax for cleaning? Like turtle wax's ? Or this would be sufficient 😀
@@mugdho2494 Honestly speaking, I'm no expert but just wash your car with a good shampoo once or twice a week is good enough. Never wipe a dusty dirty car even if you have a good microfiber towel. In between shampoos, just spray water over the car to remove the dirt and debris and then wipe it. The idea is not to have any granular particles on the microfiber towel when you wipe your car. The ceramic sprays are once in 6 weeks or so. Ceramic wax is good too but it takes a long time to apply. It's hard work.
I'm still no the wiser. I bought the green one. Washed car, dried car, re-wetted car, applied green spray, polished. Made a horrible matt finish mess. With the hybrid ceramic spray wax do you need to rinse it off after spraying it on the panel or can you starlight up dry it with a microfiber towel without rinsing it off?
Is the ceramic wax compatible with the ultimate Meguiar's paste wax? can i just apply the detailer on top of a car with the ultimate paste wax? thanks kn advance
The first product application doesn't make sense and you didn't explain it well, you just sprayed it and rinsed off? No rubbing it or wiping it with a cloth? Seems like you just rinsed the product off. If i have a car that's needs a boost but not a full wash then your saying I have to spray it and then rinse car off and then dry it? How's that make any sense I can just APC the car and use regular wax for protection (Option 2)
The water when spraying it off helps carry the si02 and it bonds as it goes, I think that almost all the videos could be much better, also think this video could have just had one car ans started off from a complete detail from washing, claying then in the order that the products are to be used. So many of the products seem to overlap each other
