I worked for a cat dealer for almost a decade and had several sets. Never had alot of luck with them. Always seemed too brital. I was using them as screw drivers not pry bars. Never had the same issues with most other screwdrivers. Just my own observation.
I believe they are actually the Williams screwdrivers. Williams is a subsidiary of Snap On and the drivers are very similar to the Snap Ons. You can buy the CAT set off their website. Here’s a part number to a Williams set for reference: JHW100P-8MD
Thanks for the info. I saw the Williams set looked the same also. Maybe you can answer this since I’ve never really seen a solid answer. Williams makes tools in both the US and other countries. These screwdrivers are USA made. Which would lead me to believe these were made in the same factory as the SnapOn ones correct? From what I read, these are basically the same with very slight differences, biggest factor being a SnapOn truck won’t warranty the CAT screwdrivers. By the way, checked out a couple of your vids and subbed. Always enjoy some good tool content!
