Herschel Walker's hypocrisy raises his reputation with Republican voters, rather than detracts from it. It telegraphs one of the key principles of Republican rule: rules/laws don't apply to me, they apply to everyone else.

"Can you believe this?!?" or, " I can't believe this!!" and, " How has he got the nerve to be so hypocritical?!" and even, "How can she/he think he/she has got the right to try to deny others the right to make the choice that he/she made and which gave/allowed her/him the ability to have/make a life that they might not have/probably wouldn't have been possible had they had a child?!?!" or, "Howcan he think he has the right to deny a woman her right to choose taking an action is best for her - AND ANY POTENTIAL CHILD - for her own reasons, when he, possibly, was the prime mover in a situation in which another woman made that SAME, EXACT CHOICE, a choice which was, clearly, one that, although he says its so horrible and/or is, essentially, murder, but one that he, clearly, was willing to make when it was convenient for himself" and, lastly, "how in the hell is it that these women/these men can have the gall to say, with a straight face, that they have the right to , so very hypocritically and with such pseudo self-righteousness, that we don't deserve, at the very least, the rights to the same choices that they, themselves, were able - AND WILLING - to make when they were in thst situation, just because THEY feel guilty for making - or, maybe, simply because they are control freaks?!?"
I can't believe that I can still be naive enough to be shocked by and/or aghast at this behavior, but maybe its because, despite how disgustingly often it occurs in our politicians - and even, as I've mentioned, in people who aren't politicians (which, I suppose, is simply due to the ease with which many people - particularly, those who are eager to push their views and or beliefs on others, are control or power freaks, and/or have religious or other beliefs about "morals" and/or science (along with little or no education on the latter) that are so weak and/or shaky that, in order to feel as though they are firm and confident, and to not fear or worry that they're wrong (or, i.e., thst they'll lose their faith), the "need" to either push their beliefs on others to the extent that they become convinced, too, or, at the very least, theyneed to push the results of or consequences of their beliefs on others, i.e. to, for example, change the laws so that everyone else has no choice but to have their lives run as if, or to have no choice but to HAVE TO live as if they and their beliefs are "Right."
What a bunch of foul crap! This behavior comes from the same desperately self righteous, yet terrified, place as those a**holes desperate efforts to ruin libraries, literacy, in general and education - education, in general, but, especially, secular education. Look at history, and the, for centuries, successful attempts, by the Catholic church, to deny the right of education and literacy to anyone who hadn't been and wasn't, also, STILL being brainwashed by the church.
These are the people who are constantly trying to bring back prayer to public schools. God forbid people get a well rounded, secular and intelligent education that will teach them how to use critical thinking! How ever will we control them!?!
