You are making it to complicated to register .. bla bla ... it's a moped dude .. In CA, you are getting ran off the road on a highway/freeway if you can't/aren't going 70mph .. no exaggeration .. you know this. That being said, I'll get one and be just rolling local in the suburbs .. as it was meant for....
I love that the DMV section on the menu is like 35% of the video. As soon as you saw the word, "DMV" you were like "Oh yeah, this is going to be a pain."
I live in WI likely the place with the most Harleys on the face of the planet. I have an e-bike springer chopper that I ride on the bike trails. It has no chain just a 72v big hub motor, 200A controller, and two batteries in saddle bags, and will do high 50s for speed. Even being on bike trails with no peddles and only having foot pegs everyone likes it as long as you're not going stupidly fast on the trail. I sometimes ride it out on the streets at night and never had the police stop me, I don't think they would even know how to write the ticket if they did.
I live in Modesto Ca. I have one too that goes 50mph. I have the first edition but I modded mine to a 72v 50ah and a 3000w controller. I been pulled over about 9 times since I had it and the police just let me go. They mostly just tell me to wear my helmet (one of the reasons I got pulled over) 😂.
You should convince Eahora to a "frame and fork" (basically this bike without the drive train. Then install a beastly motor, controller and battery. Maybe an 80 mph cruiser.
You can always purchase their cheapest M1P and then strip it down and if need be stretch it out. If you get it wholesale probably cost the same as the knight or a little more depending on what route you take but definitely the 17in 12kw QS283
The Eahora caught my eye being an old time chopper rider, Triumph Bonneville, but wondered about the legal hassle. Got a Mars with the chain ring & chain removed & the cadence sensor disconnected. The crank arms turned to hang down as pedal foot pegs.
I got the M1P plus. I've had it for a week now. I live in southern Minnesota. I had to register it as a motorcycle.Which was kind of a bummer. Fortunately I have my motorcycle Endorsement so that wasn't an issue. The biggest problem was getting it insured. Spent over an hour with my local agent trying to find a company that would insure it. I am literally the first one in town to own one. The thumbs up I get are cool. It's a blast buzzing around town. Doesn't ride as nice a bigger bike. But I wasn't expecting it to. Will definitely be getting the peg extensions and maybe the saddle bags. It's nice to be back in the saddle again.
Great video!! How long was the ride? My first concern was for how much range you had and the battery failing before you finished. Also, how much fast do you think you can make this bike? I really want one, but 50mph is simply too slow. If I could put 20-30 more mph, I’d be completely in. Apparently the parent company has an 8000w 82v version but the links to it aren’t working yet.
I did about 12 miles or so to the ride, the group itself maybe did 5 miles, then back. Was probably under 30 altogether wasn't long. I have some things coming to see what can be done about the power, but 20-30mph would require a LOT of changes.
Great video! If you don’t mind I have a couple questions. I’m looking to get my first e-bike and want to know will this support my weight? I’m 350/360. Did you only want to register it as a motorcycle to be able to go past a certain MPH? Bc if not why not just do the scooter registration and call it a day? Last thing, we’re u able to make it go past 50mph??? 👀😅 thanks!
It's pretty heavy duty! Idk the official rating but I would guess yes. Registration details will depend on your state. Moped, scooter, or motorcycle are probably all possibilities.
dirty looks at bike night Albany NY that's what i got ,,awesome cause thanks for participating and showing awareness !!!! ny you cant put it on the road because there's no title
Toys for Tots runs are done nationally at most larger towns/cities. Have been for years now. If memory serves, it was started by the Angels in conjunction with the US Marine Corps to show them in a better light and show they're not all bad. It's grown and changed a lot since.
I believe the whole concept of electric cycles, is going mainstream. it'll create whole new breed of rider, electricity just made it easier, for anyone to learn how to ride, aside from the rules of the road, they're pretty darn simple, no clutch no oil, just turn the key & you're off. I don't think they should change the way they look at all! Looking like a motorcycle is what makes them so appealing & they're affordable too! I know I'd like to get one, they definitely have the cool Factor 😜👍
Speaking for someone who hasn't seen the previous videos, woulda been nice if we got a couple profile views of the bike itself so we can understand what everyone was gawking at.
Glad to see that you had the strength to get out and ride.

I would've been asking about your bicycle backpack.

How was registering and insuring it?
I live in the bay and was thinking about getting one
@@cwallace197 I haven’t done any of that yet. They are still trying to figure out what to classify it as.

@@andyfumo8931i wouldn't do that ,we have the same in europe and let me tell you that even braking too hard can bend the frame
Going to take my Landmoto on a motorcycle group ride this year. Hope it goes as well as yours did. Good to see you out riding again.
I got my bike registered
Where are you located?

@@allenschmitz9644 I like this comment 🤣🤣
In Canada you can ride this and a electric crotch rocket without it
So glad I found your channel - lot of valuable information. Second to none on the topic

If you register it, is insurance expensive?
Less than $100/yr for basic coverage

nah, some people are just too literal in their job. Plus ass covering.
Hello Sir, what are the exact dimensions of the Eahora Mp1s 72volt battery?
I want to buy this bike but would prefer a 65-70ah battery.
If you look up the review by juiced joyride he zooms in on the battery label and it has the dimensions

The Eahora M1PS top speed is too slow. It should be able to go at 100 mph to catch up with Harley.
Toy run is all about the kids! what you ride doesn't matter just come out
Registering vehicle used for travelling is unconstitional
Harley and Chinese don't belong 8n the same sentence.
That's kind of the point. 😄
