Higher sustained speeds means shorter distance but u get there faster. For example, going at 20mph may cost u 700-1000w on average but going 40 or higher may cost u 3000+ watts; over 3x more watts for maybe double the speed, not triple. So if ur battery is a 3kwhr battery and ur doing 50mph but it costs u 4000watts (just an example), ur gonna get somewhere in the range of 37.5 miles before cutoff. But if ur using about 750 watts to do a sustained 20mph with the same battery, u will get about 80 miles.
The battery keeps going down and up because of voltage sag. When you hit the throttle that cause a drain on the battery, when you let go of the throttle the voltage sag goes away.
You can't there is always going to be some kind of voltage sag. You can add more batteries or better battery management to compensate for the voltage sag. But you will never get rid or it.
I have a electric bomber e-bike. It has a 5000w motor and a 72v 30ahr battery. If I go 20mph top speed it will have a range of 115 mills. But if I go 35 mph it's range drops to 45 miles and at 60 MPH the range is 25 miles. the problem is the head wind you create while going faster. So you will get better range with lower speeds, but it will take longer to get there. I ride my bike 13 miles to work at speeds around 45 mph. It will make it to work and back home with about 12 miles range left on the battery.
You can unlock the bike for more power. It's like you're riding on limp mode. Once unlocked, every gear selection has a higher cap than before in each gear. Like. Different bike. You're welcome 😁🤗😀
This model is already unlocked, going faster requires changing settings on the controller however the size of the tires may make any faster than 50-55mph dangerous, it can be done but not with the unlock that works on the M1P models.
I have a ebike which I love. I have one on order which is Goat powered bikes. This one has a two twenty amp hour batteries and should rip about 40 plus. I think it needs a 80 hour amp hour battery, 40 is a tad small. I love the ebike or in your case the escooter world. Love to see more escooter videos!

Nice video of the knight, I have the M1P. I've put 983miles on it in 4months. Eahora scooters actually sell the saddle bags for these on their website, I have a set on mine in my profile pic
hi uncle! thanks for all your videos on the blake/x9/mp1s it really helps getting through the waiting time until I can actually ride it. in one of your videos you mentioned that you tightened the suspension but I don't think you explained it in detail. i can't find any videos on that. can you show me in your next video how you do it, or explain here if its to short for a video? thanks!
I found it when I searched for adjusting the suspension on the M1PS. You just screw the part above the spring downward. Looks like a pickle jar lid or similar. Have to unlock the set screw inside the cap though
If you put the key in hold the right brake with the throttle fully open at the same time turn the ignition on wait 5 seconds release the brake and throttle at the same time it puts it into turbo speed 👍👍👍👍👍
Even in my little town here it's been great. I've used this almost daily since I got it. By no means does it replace my road king, but for a quick errand, absolutely.
Looks so fun .. I cannot wait to get one... Just considering the colors... I don't think I'll pay the extra grand for chrome... But yeah thanks for the vids 😊
Yeah the colors are real cool but I’m good with the black one. As far as your bag comment too, I saw one with a swingarm bag. Universal ones should fit.
I'm actually looking towards a trike, and I'm hoping to convince eAhora to put one together for me with a 3000- 4000 Watt motor, they're out there but they're only a 2000 watt motor, which seems kind of lame for the weight of a trike & myself, I want more range than speed.anyway. my real reason for wanting a trike is that I have drop foot on my left leg which happened 2 yrs ago. I just think a trike would be safer for me, otherwise I would go for the bike. I also like the hump in the lower middle, and I'd love it in black chrome, anyway I got my fingers crossed Eahora can accommodate my wishes, I just hate to think that being disabled may also limit my choices. 😕🤞
This needs a Voltage readout. It's such an easy basic true indicator. I would expect a battery upgrade on these in the next year or so. Double this range but another 30 lbs or so. That would make it a huge improvement. A 60 mile range in 3rd gear would be perfect.. 40 mph 60 miles.
Has anyone tried to unlock the speed control on this one like they did on the 3000w one. Turn off key, roll and hold throttle wide open, hold brake on throttle side down, turn key back on while holding throttle and brake release and done. Unlocked 3000w to go 54mph

I'd personally just start doing custom work and make it better if it broke down. Like buying a new motor or adding taller rims. Then again, I want an empty frame so I can build an electric chopper and have it titled as a Yamaha or kawasaki.
I'd put a fake v-twin on it and standard size wheels on it. Bigger wheels equal higher top speed at the cost of acceleration. My goal would just be a top speed of 65 mph. Hell, maybe id move the motor and attach a chain to give myself more control of the gear ratio. I like these bikes. I just dont like the design. They ignore all logic of modern engineering. The motor being in the wheel just kills the potential. Still a damn cool bike, though.
