im a gasser for life but id buy that eletric bike i think its pretty cool be great in nieborhood without heavy traffic but im 6ft 1 290 pounds id probably break it lol
It's rated for like 350lbs. I'm 250 and it's great.
Only thing regardles the sidecar it would be better if sides where little taller to prevent kids sticking hands and elbows out of it, for security reasons. But otherwise it looks dope, I like it.

Retired X motorcycle rider here. I had sort of considered maybe getting an electric trike… I like the idea of stability. This might be a better way to go and it has the benefit of carrying groceries or the occasional friend.
May be a good option. Just keep in mind that right turns can be a little hairy. It wants to lean the opposite way

I drive a Harley fat boy and if I saw a grown man riding this I'd have to say it's cool but I'd laugh. The look with the sidecar makes it a little less laughable. I guess I just don't get it. It's way too low to be seen by a car or truck and it's quiet too quiet to be heard by a car...good luck with that. I'd only drive that thing in a parade or function.

I just found out from their customer service that the wheel size has been increased so the foot rests being higher off the ground shouldn’t scrape in turns any longer.
Also, being street legal, does it require a class M license? How would you get one?
I’d ask your state. I never looked into it for this because I already have my license.

Could an adult woman (short) fit in the sidecar? Since it tops out around 35-40, is it considered a moped or a motorcycle as far as DMV licensing, etc.?
You’ll need to ask your state. I can’t answer that. A small person would fit in the sidecar. Just be mindful of the weight because the nose likes to dip
Woulda been good to recommend NOT wearing flipflops on any kind of bike. Dress for the slide.

Can only say to check with your state. They’re going to vary on requirements. Reach out to the DMV or equivalent

I'd check with your state. I heard they vary pretty significantly. Since I have an endorsement, I haven't checked.
Damn, I want me one of those! Looks like there’s enough room to double or even triple up on the battery capacity… that would be nice to make up for the power loss from the sidecar.
What’s the range on the Eahora M1PS by itself? And with the sidecar?
Range with the sidecar and my grandson in it isn't very far. maybe 20 miles. Range by itself is going to vary wildly depending on what speed you have it in. Or gear. Or whatever they call it. I kept mine in 3rd gear all day on my test video and was going 50-55mph most of the day. I got close to 35 miles on it.

I have 2 Escooters, a stand up scooter, the Hiboy S2 Pro, and a sit down scooter, the Emove Roadrunner V2, and here in Las Vegas I don’t need insurance or to register them to use them on the streets…. At least not yet…. They are my principal form of transportation to and back from work, going to the store, the bank… almost anywhere….

Video was awesome Uncle Bo, thank you! As a bigger dude myself, I am really considering buying one, but just the two wheels not the sidecar. But being on the bigger side, I did wonder about the suspension. I’m tipping 360 and the max load is about 440 which makes me really happy on the bike specs, My question is which way did you have to turn the suspension screw? All the way to the right or all the way to the left? Asking for my future self lol thanks man!
If I was much heavier I think it would be bottoming out more frequently with the sidecar. Without the sidecar I never come close to bottoming out. I turned the adjusters clockwise like putting a lid back on. The idea is to make the spring smaller so it’s stiffer. Out of the box it was all the way loose so the ride was real spongy. This is a lot better for my size.

Thanks! I love seeing ebikes. I have a Pan Am and looking at an eride pro to have a little more light fun. Its going to be the next thing and bring more people to motorcycles. However, every time i bring up ebikes i get the cold shoulder with my Harley friends.

Depends on the size of dogs I imagine. This bike is 4000 watts. Which one is the slower one?

When you first got the thing, I thought I could see myself on one. I can see my dog sitting in that sidecar, which totally upped its chances. Too cool. I say keep the content of this thing going, I may just click that link if you convince me lol

I like the electric bike uncle bo, the only problem I have with them is when they break down who's going to fix it ?
I think it's a lot less mechanical knowledge on these and more of a "remove and replace" scenario. I don't worry about it so much for now.

Do you need a motorcycle license, registration, tags ect. To ride this?
Depends on your state. In FL, no. But you can register it. License only applies to greater than 49cc gas bike til they figure it out and change it.
@@UncleBogator so looks like in NJ it's considered a class 3 E-Bike/Moped/Electric Motorcyle. And because it's a class 3 that goes over 20 mph without foot peddles. It needs a Motorcycle Endorsment/License, Insurance, and Registration. I never wanted to move to Florida more.
@@INNA-WOODS dang that's some pretty stringent laws for needing a license up there.
@@UncleBogator You might want to check your laws too. I was looking at a map with all the states that have a 3 Tier Class System for Electric Bikes and Florida is on that list. Class 1 and Class 2 bikes tend to be under 50cc like you said or an E-Bike that can go under 20mph. Because this thing has no foot peddles and goes 50 mph. It's defiantly a class 3 bike and you might have to at least get it insured and registered in Florida. You clearly already have your Endorsement so happy riding 👍
@@INNA-WOODS thing about Florida and insurance is that it’s not required on a motorcycle believe it or not. That comes with a hefty catch though. If you’re at fault in an accident and you don’t have insurance on it, you’re liable for damages personally. But you won’t get ticketed for no insurance. It’s a very weird law and one that I learned the hard way a few years ago.
I think that looks really cool. A custom paint job would be very high on my list.
