  • This is how I solve the problem with my laptop (XPS 9550 DELL). my problems were
    1. Sudden Stop
    - PC suddenly stops. it gives me a lot of stress. Every time it is frozen, I had to pull off the power cable and put it again. I don't know why but it works for me. anyway, it is very annoying
    2. Lagging Mouse
    - Every single time I use 2.4Ghz wifi, my bluetooth mouse slows down and there is a big lag with it.
    3. 2.4GHz internet now available.
    - I could connect 2.4 Ghz internet but it doesn't work. the only solution was turning the bluetooth off.
I thought that it was from the wifi bluetooto card on my laptop. HARDWARE PROBLEM!!! so, I decided to replace the wifi bluetooth card to the latest compatible card.

I am not sure I understood well third part. You say that even after the replacement, you cannot connect 2.4 GHz wifi when BT is on??

I put one in my HP 800 G3 Mini, signal strength is terrible - only one bar!! I did not get antennas, the router is within reach of the desktop, any thoughts why bad signal?

I have bad flickering on my laptop screen and it's only when I'm on wifi. It's a Dell XPS 15 9570 Core i9. I've placed this new chip inside my laptop a few days ago and I'm still experiencing the same problem. I've noticed if I turn down the transmit power in the device settings, the flicker is reduced but only by a fraction. It's still a little severe but only happens when I'm on wifi. Is there any other options I can change? Any specific drivers I need to install/ Disable? Any other programs I need/ have to delete? So far dell hasn't been of any help to me, I appreciate all the help!

It might have something to do with the antenna cables that run under your display bezel...?

Hi, after replacing with the Intel, mine has a problem: the signal is very weak. Now I hardly receive a good signal from the sleeping room when the door is closed. Any solution? Thank you

I am not able to get bluetooth to work after this installation. Maybe the grey wire which was not connected? Any help would be appreciated.

@@craigs4212 I have to go to device manager and uninstall the Bluetooth driver, scan for new hardware and then reinstall the driver. Then it works, until it doesn't again

Do you know if you can take the latest xps 15 motherboard and put it in the 9550 body?

Can you get the 1,73 Gpbs band with that? I'm thinking of upgrading but can't find info anywhere.

Yes. But you also need a router that can support 2x2 ac. My suggestion is the asus rt-acrh13. Its only 59usd in amazon

EingeL I replaced mine and have had zero issues ever since. I’ll look for a model number and get back to you. It also fixed my shoddy Bluetooth issues which I had assumed had been windows 10 issues.

It didn't resolve the problem. It made it different. It doesn't drop as much, but the bandwidth is now under 2mbps. My other laptop is fine. My phone is fine, my router is fine. This XPS laptop is a lemon. Massive audio issues too. Dell customer service is all "blah blah blah". Ok got the message, will never buy a Dell ever again (customer for 20+ years).

You just put the wrong cables into the wireless card, the black with the black arrow and white with the white arrow

yeah, it looks he mismatched the colors or is it supposed to be like this?
Edit: i saw the comment on the video (th-cam.com/video/uXxXa_beXc4/w-d-xo.html) explains the exception for 9260 that black goes to white and white goes to black. I think that's why he doing in this way

JOL you are a bloody star sir! I was just planning to take the card out of my XPS 9560 and send it back. WI-FI internet speed was ten thousand times worse than the old card even with new Intel drivers installed. Then I saw your comment that they were on the wrong terminals - I switched them and VOILA! It worked. Cannot thank you enough bro. Bloody ridiculous that they manufacture and switch the antenae terminals.
