Paul, I'm 71 one years old and I've always wondered what I wanted to be when I grow up.... and I decided...... I want to be YOU!! Well, okay maybe not because you do such a wonderful job of being you and I would totally mess it up.... But, I do want to learn how to paint in this loose flowy way. I love it!! My problem is I try to control the paint too much and it ends up controlling me... I'm so glad to be on this journey though... it has been a lot of fun. I hope you have a wonderful week.. see you next time! Sending lots of love from Alabama!

@@ArtbyPaulClark I have seen you using some innovative technics like wrapping plastic sheet, sponge, etc. for painting. So initially I thought that Cadbury Dairy Milk was also going to be used for a new technique! ;-) But let me tell you, your's is the only channel that gives us elaborate and clear instructions about various water colour techniques! Your are a great artist and a great teacher too! Admire you Sir!

Oh my gosh, Paul, you had me laughing out loud at the end with your fixative ‘demo’. What a beautiful scene you created! I am thoroughly enjoying learning all these techniques, you are not only a brilliant artist but a wonderful teacher. Your words of encouragement are very helpful and much appreciated. I am so happy to be one of your subscribers. Many thanks!

I love Ray Balkwill ‘s work, wish I’d found that book! I did a workshop with him a decade ago, very inspiring. In fact, I was lucky enough to be able to purchase one of his demonstration watercolours (enhanced with pastel) which has pride of place in my dining room. Thanks for mentioning him on your channel!
