Good morning dear Paul! Today is Wednesday and I am again happy to meet you in the studio, despite the long distance. Today is the holiday of spring 🌷 and I want to wish all the women of the world spiritual harmony and beauty, love, fidelity, happiness, bright and positive emotions! Dear women - peace and goodness to you, happiness and love! And today I hope you have prepared something spring, bright for us .... the first spring flowers - snowdrops, tulips, as a symbol of awakening life after a long winter sleep! Thank you in advance dear Paul 💋♥️ for the video and I wish you only positive and spring mood! 💐💐💐💐🏵️🏵️🏵️💮💮💮🌸🌸🌸🌹🌹🌹🌺🌺🌺🥀🥀🥀🌷🌷🌷🎨🖼️♥️♥️♥️💋💋💋👍👍👍👍👍👍😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Lovely comment Adela and thanks for sharing! and a BIG yes, looking forward to Spring! 🌺🌺🌺🥀🥀🥀🌷
@@ArtbyPaulClark Thank you dear Paul for the answer! I watched your video, I really liked the second episode - a withered tree and the third episode with the silhouette of the island and a ray of light through the clouds of a gray overcast sky. Very impressive! I especially liked the tree very much, how the photo is all accurately drawn! I did not expect that a simple watercolor can be painted like that! I'll try too, but you are a brilliant master of your craft, and I'm an amateur.... 🎨🎨🎨🖼️🖼️🖼️👍👍👍🙄🙄😏😏🤔🤔😲😲👩🎨👩🎨👩🎨

Dear Paul, fantastic theoretical and practical lecture; thank you !! | Alex from Adelaide
Thank you for sharing Paul. On my list to practise.
Your clouds are so inspiring. Who would of thought to start painting with yellows and purples. I normally start with blue and dab out the clouds with a tissue. I’m definitely sharing this video with my students.
Thank you! Cheers as ever Jacqueline!!
Thanks Paul, I really enjoyed this tutorial. As always thanks for sharing your talent 🙏🪶
I am self-taught with help from you and others on TH-cam. I make cards and glue my pictures on the front for birthday cards for my grandchildren and other family and friends. They are all great practice for me, and my grandchildren are framing their cards for their room. I let them tell me what to paint. Some are total failures, so I start over, but I still learn from them while I develop my style. Try painting a snake chewing bubble gum. I had him blowing a bubble. 😂 I am having fun with it.
Very beautiful demonstration and instructions. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
brilliant lesson, really. Thanks so much, Paul. Will start by the tree.
Have fun!
more more more Thank you so much for great excercises.Delmar Mcwillis St George Utah
Will do Delmar!!!
Thanks I really enjoyed these, great demo!
Glad you enjoyed it!
❤ I love these short exercises so much. Thank you dear Paul! They don’t take up so much time and still develop painting skills and there is a lot less pressure! Especially when you’re not an advanced student. Bless you.
Glad you like them!
Another absolutely fantastic watercolor Wednesday! I love all three of these. Thanks to you, Paul and Margot!
You are so welcome!
Very helpful! Thank you Paul 😊

Thank you 🍀 Paul again very very usefull work shops
Very welcome
You make everything so simple. I love your tutorials. I watch others painting similar pictures and get discouraged by their complexity. Then I go to your tutorial and think “I can do this!” You’re an absolutely wonderful teacher. Thank you for sharing your skills with us.😊
Lovely comment - thanks so much!
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Thank you very much for such helpful paint tutorials
Thanks!
Thanks so much Karen - very kind!
So helpful - thank you!
You're so welcome!
Thank you for the beautiful tutorials
You’re welcome 😊
All three are mini masterpieces - the tree is absolutely gorgeous, the waterscape is masterful and the clouds fluffy and beautiful! Thanks so much for the exercises and tips.
So pleased you enjoyed them!
Wonderful as usual thank you Paul👍👍
Very welcome
love these, (from your Canadian fan)
Love your tutorials!!!❤
I'm so glad!
Watching you is so inspiring for me. You do such excellent work .
Thank you so much!
Loved it!! Thank You!!
You are so welcome!
Wonderful and instructive!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great really helpful. I am getting the hang of skies but still find painting water very difficult. I usually find it’s not dark enough. It would be great if any future tutorials could focus on different interpretations of water? Sea, river rough smooth etc. Really like the 20 min format too. Thank you so much for giving up your time for us aspiring artists!
Hi Alison - check out my channel as I have videos on all the subjects you mentioned: th-cam.com/channels/C2uMZ7qWrsCUorYdZbi8OA.html
Lovely studies, every one! Thankyou! XXX
My pleasure Caj! x
Great, very informative!
Glad it was helpful!
Amazing what a great artist can do in just a few minutes! Even your “exercises” are lovely. I learn so much each week. Thank you and Margot for your time, energy, and thoughtfulness!
You are so welcome!
Es fantástico tu tutorial , realmente eres un acuarelista estupendo
Muchas gracias por enseñarnos tus técnicas
" FELICITACIONES "
just loved this, thank you
So pleased you enjoyed it - thanks!
Thankyou…. amazing techniques that you show us. 🙃🇦🇺
Glad you like them!
I enjoyed this tutorial very much. It’s very challenging to learn how much water on the paper and the consistency of paint and water in the brush. You got it so perfect! Not too wet, the paint did not run too much and no cauliflowers forming, yet your paper stayed wet right through to the finish.
You inspire me! Kathy from Toronto, Ontario
Glad it was helpful Kathy 👍
Thanks a lot Mr. Paul Clark, you seem to explain very clearly and easy to understand how to go about painting all these pictures shown by you though it definitely needs great experience and a lot of hard work and great interest.
Thank you Paul for your very useful videos. It helps very much, for a beginner like me, to learn step by step aquarel techniques. I enjoy the painting each time when I follow your examples.
Thanks - Glad you enjoyed it!
These are great, thank you so much
Glad you think so!
I love these 3 quick tutorials with the reminder that it is so important to practice skills without the goal of producing a framable painting. I have been in a painting slump for a bit. I think this is just what I need to get my painting mojo back. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
So beautiful ! But you made it look SO.... simple ! 😁
Thanks so much!
I never done watercolour before just found you can’t wait to have a go
Have fun Karen!
I Love Wednesdays, thank you❤
Cheers Essie!
Thanks for these fun watercolour sketches. Going to paint some cards using some of these ideas. Loved this video.
You are so welcome!
Thank you, thank you, thank you. 😁 Can't wait to get stuck in. Other tutorials I've seen have flat boring clouds so this is perfect for how I want to paint.
You’re welcome 😊
If you want to be vexed in a great way, look up Sergey Temerev online, he is meticulous and creates the most amazing watercolor cloudscapes..
Thanks again Paul. Lovely washes and clear instructions. I really appreciate all your tutorials. Such a boon finding you during lockdown and beyond. Love to you and Margot. Please don't stop, we all benefit from your knowledge and love your work.
You are very welcome
All three are magnificent! But the third on........Stunning!! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
You make it look so easy. I just think s..t. No way that turned out so good
Lol! - cheers!
I could watch you paint for hours! The thing is when the video ends I am very motivated to give it a go! Thanks so enjoyable!
Great to hear!
Beautiful!
Thank you! Cheers!
I learn as much from these short lessons as I do in your full tutorials. Sometimes it’s good to have a quick paint.
Great to hear!
What a great exercise for us to do! Thank you, Paul. I love how we can use different brushes and paint what we see.
Absolutely! - thanks Betty
I just got your book as a gift for my birthday. Now I have to try a lot and this three little paintings I have to do too. So I have a lot of work to do. 😄 Thanks, you are really the best teacher even if I a have to watch in a foreign language. But I understand more in your videos, than in a bad german video. And I love your humor. This tree is the perfect motive for me to overdo a lot. 🤣
Wonderful! - thanks for buying my book too - I'm sure your English is better than my German!!!
@@ArtbyPaulClark That is possible. 😆
Superbes exercices pour de superbes effets! On en redemande!
Браво!
Cheers!
Very nice and a good exercise for me Thank you for the good video
Glad you enjoyed it!
I also loved these these exercises, they were very helpful and I agree with what you said. Exercises alone have their own value. Thank you Paul!!
😂 Great tutorial and I loved the comment about about the magic scalpel. It’s exactly the sort of thing I would do ☺️
Lol! - Cheers Nancy! 😂
I really look forward to wednesdays and I am never disappointed. Thank you.
Andy
Glad to hear it Brenda!
I love watching you paint. The way you use your brush with confidence I hope to develop that ease with my watercolors. I know it takes years of practice..
Thank you so much 😀
Thanks again for the great tutorial. One of my bucket list items is go over and do a class with you. Hopefully one day. 🤞
Waving from Australia 🇦🇺
Please do! - great to meet you!
Thank you for these shorts, sometimes that’s all I can handle! I did some techniques from your old brick and stone lesson, and wondered where I should post it to show you how well it turned out. It’s a stone wall in a park where we use to play as kids. I don’t go on FB very often anymore, not sure if you use that. Also, glad to see you using your three paints for this sky that you talked about the other day. I began using those 3 the other day, and I really like practicing with just those 3 to see if I can get the colors I want.
Great comment - thanks for sharing Ann
Great advice!
Glad it was helpful!
Wonderful clouds wish l could do them as well paul so talented you are xx
Thank you! Cheers!
Enjoyed the tree especially! You are the master of the rigger!!!!!!!!
Thanks 👍
Way to go Paul three lovely paintings to keep us moving and our paints wet.
Thanks Jerry!
Paul, it’s such a pleasure to hear and see you at work. The tree has me flummoxed, but the watery scene is one I’ll have to try. Thanks, as ever! Wonderful 😀😃
So pleased you enjoyed Patricia!
I always wanted to paint clouds but I never did it. With the help of this vdo I will!❤ thank you!
My pleasure 😊
Thanks for your demonstrations ~~
My pleasure 😊
Amazing! To say that this is helpful is to say nothing! So enjoyable! You are such a talented teacher! The best!
Wow, thank you!
I am so grateful that week after week you take the time to teach me watercolor. It is absolutely sincere that I appreciate that you give away your knowledge and great talent for free.I feel very blessed that you are my watercolor teacher because if you weren´t on youtube I wouldn¨t have the opportunity to learn it so well and thorougly. So once again many many thanks to you Paul
So kind - thanks very much!
I’m always so happy to see your videos. They’re fantastic.
Спасибо Paul, за прекраные уроки. Я так люблю рисовать деревья, пейзажи. Спасибо Вам.

You're welcome 😊
Dear Paul, many thanks for these 3 exercises, which I will try also. I am a fan of your explanation ,which are sometimes funny ,but every time very helpful. Greetings from Austria and keep on going. Sonja

Thank you, Paul! Landscapes do not come easy for me - but enjoy watching you paint them like a breeze! Inspiring! 🎨😊
My pleasure 😊
Great fun. I especially love the reflection with the back runs!
Paul, Paul, Paul! Thank you so very much. Gorgeous, as usual. I hope you and Margot are well and happy today!!!
Cheers J!
Oh my! Soooooo beautiful!. I'm doing it!
These are so beautiful! Thank you for such a wonderful tutorial…you make it look so effortless. I need to get a trusty rigger brush too…
Hello from snowy Russia, Paul! I normally watch all your videos but in this one I was completely caught by the 3d landscape. What am I going to do? Grab my paints and run painting it😂🤪 Thank you so much for sharing amazing techniques!
Awesome, thank you!
Hi Paul. I am new to the channel and I want to say thank you. Your teaching is amazing and easy to follow. As an artist, watercolor for me is my primary medium, but I am still uncomfortable with it. Learning about techniques and applying them with these exercises has been the door I needed to become comfortable with watercolors. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge and experience.
Thanks and welcome
As someone who is new-ish to watercolor, these landscape exorcises are super helpful! Thank you so much for sharing!!
Good morning Paul and thank you so much for your fantastic work and the way your share it. These exercises seams close to master pieces for me, espacially the last one ! Your have all my admiration and gratitude. I would be very interested by a video more personal relative to your journey as an artist, for example your education (or courses I dont now which word is the good one !), the way your art has evolved, your influences, what do you expect or dream of concerning your futur skills (if you have some dreams but as an artist too I know that we have some periods made of dreams or simply new goals), etc. Thanks again and have a good day wherever your are !
I Jean - thanks for this and comments noted - Have you seen this video as I go into a dream I often have!: th-cam.com/video/a2_GUgAzECs/w-d-xo.html
You are definitely one of my favorites to watch!
Wow, thank you!

Yay! I just woke up early, Good morning Paul from across the pond in Woodinville, Washington state. I'm so happy to see this. I love you and your lovely Margo. You are both so talented 💖 Thank you for always bringing us lessons and inspiring us. I hope to join you both on a future retreat.
Good morning! - and many thanks Cheryl!
Awesome I am going to start painting.
