Hey, thanks for the video. I came to see at what temperature the PCH was running but it didn't show? The only thing I saw was motherboard temperature at 38 degrees but that's something else right? And if it is then why is it spinning at 3000 rpm at such a low temperature?
Question: Did my first build few months back and starting to dive into overclocking and some other basics in the bios. Regarding the "Monitor" section and when you go to "Q-Fan Configuration."
I'm using an AIO (NZXT Kraken X52) - At 11:56 of your video, am I suppose to enable "AIO Control" correct? I do have the AIO plugged into the AIO 4 pin slot on the motherboard.
What do I do with the "Q-Fan Control?" Do I keep the Q-fan control enabled even though I am not using a CPU Fan? (My confusion - if the "Q-fan control" monitors more than just the CPU Fan).
Also any advantage to plugging my case fans into my x-570 CPU Fan and CHA_1 Fan pin slots? Or is it fine connected to NZXT 3 fan cable set?
You should probably check the Kraken manual for suggested setup.
You didn't mention anything about Easy Tuning Wizard. Do you have a video about how to use that? Do you have a more detailed video on how to use My Favorites?
This is a decent general run through. Basically the same bios as the older ROG boards, but with the extra settings for the new Zen 2 chips and memory. I'd like to see you do a few different over-clocks with different methods, using this bios. OC the processor and memory would be useful for those of us who are thinking about getting this mobo. I am considering buying this very board on Black Friday. It's basically down to this one or the Gigabyte Master. I normally only buy Asus or Gigabyte mobo's, and really don't like MSI or AsRock when it comes to mobo's. Cheers!

I couldn't find whether this motherboard allowed you to only turn on SATA hot-plug for the individual connectors or if it was an all or nothing setting. Your video allowed me to get a quick answer on that question, thank you very much.
As I remember you can set it for each SATA port. I have a LIAN-LI Dynamic XL whith 4 swappable sata drives but didnt enable it, If you're still interested in it I can check it. Otherwise you can download the manual on asus support page.

I'm kinda disappointed that the asus AM4 motherboard bios doesn't have VCore adaptive mode like intel version does when the computer is on idle

Hi, if you haven't figure it out or anyone has this problem while reading comments. The answer is you need to go to Boot > CSM (Compatibility Support Module) > Enable Launch CSM. And on Secure Boot select windows as your OS type. Hope this helps.

there's a similar function to ultra fast boot? I don't see, only fast boot.
How do you exit out of the bios settings and not have it keep coming back up? That is my issue, i hit exit and it keeps coming back
I believe you may have to change you boot preferences. You can do that in EZ Mode. One thing I was running into because I am using an AIO and not a CPU Fan, I was getting a CPU Fan Error and it was requiring me to push 'F1' every time and go through Bios. I think it is under "BOOT" but you can disable 'F1' when there is an error so it goes straight to windows. Hope that helps.
@@CapN-Savvy hey check if you dont have your aio plugged into the wrong 4 pin. There is a one for an aio and then one for an air cooler.
@@clover.9103 Its in the right one. Funny u responded to this today cause someone in a fb group ran into the same thing and the f1 error page kept pooping up saying "cpu fan error." U have to disable the cpu fan tracking in bios and problem solved.
Just bought 4000mhz ram was talking to a buddy and it looks like i will have to unlock the board to get the 4000 mhz out of my ram. Is this true, and if so is it easy to do?
Ashley - Your 'buddy' is BSing you, or doesn't know what he's talking about. There's no such thing as a locked board. You'll EASY be able to get 4000MHz from your RAM.
Could i oc my corsair ram from 3200 to 3600 easy ? And could this board handle zen 4000 ? Reply plz
Niko - Easy Peasy, although Corsair is crap for Ryzen, and you'll have to slow the timings down even more. I suggest you leave it at 3200. Zen 4000? No such thing. You mean Ryzen 4000 series chips, and absolutely, yes.
Ryzen 4000 CPU are for mobile, do you mean Ryzen 5000?

Use the keyboard instead. My mouse delays too, and that's the workaround I've found for it.
or try the BIOS USB Port and maybe another Mouse

Steven - CRAP job IMO - all he did was to say you can turn this or that, on or off = a complete waste of time. Click Bait. He didn't tell anyone anything. If you've got this board, and I have, you can see all this yourself just by looking. No information here whatsoever. CPU temp is high due to earl BIOS setting the voltage too high, as can be seen, but he omits to mention it!

You should check connections, I think n/a means the MB doesn't see them.

no its not, thats why it runs at like 60° on idle
Deku - early BIOS is awful at this, even later ones, currently 1303 can still over volt the CPU! Set it manually.

@@user-tn9yq5px8e so after watching videos and reading artles it’s not worth doing raid 0 as surprisingly you won’t gain a noticeable improvement in performance. I did do it can cancelled it so I use use the nvme as two separate drives.

@@ds617 hey bro so the problem i had is with the usb boot drive itself. First I tried doing it in Chromebook Utility app but if your planning to install it on chromebook, usb will be corrupted. You should really need a windows laptop or pc you can use to make the boot drive. ps. pardon my grammar

@@ds617 yeah. I got the same one too, Ive tried all fixes and the real problem here is the boot drive itself. You should install windows 10 boot in a windows device( laptop or pc) so that the installation would be successful. where you at I can call man
Manvil - which version of Windoze are you trying to install? Enterprise has issues with x570/M.2. Try installing onto a normal HD then Clone onto your M.2

I bugged out at _"Performance Enhancer, you can change that.."_ It sounds like this is where this guys knowledge ended, and he was just reading the names of the options.
I suppose the 50c temp and the core voltage of ~1.45v should have been a warning sign.
Yea, I know this is just an overview but some in depth knowledge is generally preferred, especially for people why just stumble on here and think this kind of voltage and temp is the norm..
Yes this is an overview, we do not go in-depth on everything in the BIOS. If you run a 3900X at stock everything those values are pretty normal for the BIOS at least in the 5 X570 boards we've tested from 4 different manufacturers
I agree with you. I would've thanked at least a mention to that high CPU voltage, whether it's an overview of the board or not. No need to get deep in the use, just a comment like, "As you guys can see the v-core is high as F," for example. At least l can see there has been no improvement on that front when it comes to comparing x370 to x570: same almost 1.5V being fed to the CPU at idle when using 3rd Gen Ryzen.
I have a C6H - 3900x and l have set the voltage to offset (-.05V) if memory serves (usually doesn't). I run many benchmarks and all that changed was my idle temp (lower with offset) so to me it's the way to go. YMMV. My 2 cents.

Almost no extra explanation . This video is 95% reading what is written , and at most 5% extra explanation. We could have read them ourselves...Ok, maybe this is for someone considering buying the motherboard? I am honestly confused about what is the target audience of this video.
