Fantastic job, great to finally see this working. I would like to just put on record that I wasn't the one who dropped it or carried out the initial repair. I never done anything with this monitor other than giving it a quick power up test then put it away. Hopefully I'll get the chance to see it running in person at the next Amiga Ireland.
Brilliant job! Well done! Please do a more detailed video on plastics fixing. How to deal with cracks and *especially* on how you are able to create a paint mix that is pretty much the same colour of the plastic. Your skills are amazing!
I'm sure I've seen those jack sockets on other 1084s in other people's videos. Can't remember if the one I had included one though. Hopefully it's properly isolated. I once added a jack to my TV for headphones, got a shock form it as I didn't know about things like isolation transformers when I was a teen!

Great work! Always love when another CRT is saved. Cheers!
yeah, and it's the one thing emulation can't really quite replicate , that homely feel of a nice CRT monitor

Good to your hard work bringing it back to life. Nice video.
Your definition of cracked is my definition of snapped in half! Great work :-)
haha yeah, "cracked" is probably an understatement :D
Great job!!!! =D Lovely to see that working so well there!
I won't lie, my heart sunk a bit when I saw the large break on that pcb .
That was straight up ER surgery. Well done!
Man that sure must have been dropped hard
Just add some gold paint to those cracks, and embrace those repairs kintsugi style 😅
