      Those cops just probably ruined that entire family and now the sister and father despises that child. As much as I would not like to say it, that child should be held responsible for what happened. From the way he talks, it’s obvious that he is the age to know that he should know better than to go outside at night.

    In the first one. the cops just ruined that son's life. his sisters will forever blame him for their fathers arrest and that's on the cops. no matter what you think. Its the police's job to ensure that their actions don't have unjust consequences for their actions, and this scenario did not warrant these consequences. Justice done wrong

    • @matsu7086
      @matsu7086 หลายเดือนก่อน +66

      The same justice system, alongside CPS, would then go onto give an all clear and do nothing about cases of actual clear-cut ongoing abuse and child neglect with repeated reports, doing nothing about it. They love going the route that will traumatize the kids and family the most.

    • @malialol
      @malialol หลายเดือนก่อน +45

      This scenario definitely deserved the consequences he got. It seems to me that he is under the influence, even if he wasn’t the cop asked him if his daughters car was there when he was at the house and he couldn’t even answer the question meaning he KNEW his son was home alone, and nobody else was there. His son is clearly young, and the father knew exactly what he was doing. The police’s actions were just, & necessary because no matter what it’s child neglect at the end of the day, & the police officers did their job.

      Yeah I don't know what the fuck the thought process was there. Like yeah I guess technically he did commit a crime, but judging how hysterical the daughter got instantly tells me he was being honest.
      Young kids do stupid shit all the time, and if the dad really did think he was only gunna be gone for 45min leaving your eight year old alone with a movie or whatever seems pretty reasonable to me. I also didn't like how the narrator commented on the sister's behaviour towards the kid either. Like yeah she was being mean, but she's fucking 18. Of COURSE she's gunna be annoyed with her 8 year old kid brother for causing problems for a bunch of people. If anything I feel like she was more embarrassed than anything that all these people had to deal with this.

He even gave the kid a doll to keep them calm when he had to separate after arriving at the hospital. The kid recovered and was later adopted by a family from my old church and is doing hell of a lot better without their deadbeat family. Being a paramedic is really life changing for most, ask my dad. @maxpro751 หลายเดือนก่อน +20

      @Bexlaa Very unlikely that those things would happen in that amount of time, which is why everyone in the comments didn’t like that outcome. It really doesn’t make the situation any better for the child because now the father and the sisters would probably resent him. Your probably going to argue, well it’s a lesson taught for the father but that’s just absolutely not true. Every parent can’t supervise their child at all time because that’s just not possible, and in this case the father thought that one of his daughters were at home to take care of him. Having kids is already tough nowadays especially being a single father, and examples like these only enforce the idea that having kids is just not worth it giving all the stress that there is that comes with it.

    It's the fact how people in this world can be so cruel. I mean, I get it. You don't want to see your parents die or get arrested no matter how much they abuse or neglect you. But still, it's really sad what young kids and adults have to go through.
    Edit: Also, lol I just thought of this, but you guys ever realize how smart these 6- or 8-year-olds are? I mean it's crazy! These kids are crazy smart. They need a grammy or something for that-- Helping out cops, saving people's lives, jeez. I mean, I can't even do that!

      Exactly I mean I’m going to confess here. I’m 15. But in 2016. When I was 6 because I was born in 2010. Both of my parents worked. During the day so I had to stay home alone. And I was six years old. My parents pacifically gave me instructions and I would follow them. They told me to lock the front door and make my own food if I have to do whatever I need to do. if I was hungry or wanted to do something and I would just play on my game on my phone or Xbox after I was done making my food so I can eat and I would just keep my front door shut and feed myself I was a very capable six-year-old and so is that kid he was being overdramatic. I’m sorry.😊

    I don't think that the father who was arrested for child neglect and resisting arrest should not have been arrested, I get it that he left his child alone, it was actually unfair and the cops should have given the father a warning, some times cops just arrest people without more information given and the father wasn't careless.
