    What should someone do if they accidently remove/lose the stock capacitors? Can you just bridge the solder between the "half moons' and the pads on the board? Or should you get new capacitors?

    • @Angryhelder
      @Angryhelder  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      NO, DO NOT BRIDGE THOSE PADS!! there is essentially a positive and a negative on each of the pads so if you bridge them you are essentially running power to ground and could damage your console.
      If you lost the original caps you can leave them out and solder the "half moons" to the pads of the missing capacitors. It won't be that big a deal but you can always buy some 0.1uf 10v size 0805 caps and solder them to the Capacitor on the flex PCB.
      The original size of the lost capacitor is 0402 which is really tine if you plan to put the original back.

    • @Angryhelder
      @Angryhelder  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      When you amplify dirty sound you get louder dirty sound, this is how amplification works. The Power cleaner cleans very little to be honest and if you want the best noise cleaning you want to do a recap with larger values like the same value caps that I sell on my site. You can use electrolytic capacitors if that is what you can get and this will greatly improve the noise. One thing everyone needs to know is that there is no 100% noise cancellation unless there is an entirely new audio circuit with better built in filtration so the best we can do is clean up the power to lessen the noise. Also sound is subjective, as some people are more attuned to hearing things that others can not.
      This statement above is the honest truth that many people selling things will not tell you and all I can promise you with my products is that it helps clean some noise but as I said the recap is the best mod for cleaning a majority of the noise you hear.
