    Do you aggressively drive your car in twisties? If so did those make a big difference from stock suspension? Or did you just install those to lower your car for looks?

    • @leugarage6327
      @leugarage6327  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did it to lower the car primarily for looks. I still enjoy some "spirited " driving time to time on some curvy roads and there is definitely a difference in handling. Car feels more plated on the bends.

    Any advice getting that top camber bolt out? My STI has 1K miles on it and I still couldn’t get it. Had to stop because I didn’t wanna risk stripping the bolt.

    • @leugarage6327
      @leugarage6327  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey, the camber bolt on the front struts? With only 1k miles that should have been a breeze to take out. Try hitting it with some PB Blaster to break up anything stuck in the threads. If that doesn't work you can try to apply some heat. I would just crank away at the bolt and nut, worst case you need to get a new camber bolt and nut but I doubt it would be that bad. Good luck.

    Can you show how you jacked the car? I tried jacking the car on the side but my jackstand wont fit beside it and i cant put the jackstand

    • @leugarage6327
      @leugarage6327  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Will check to see if I have footage but if you want all 4 up, I raise the rear first on the diff and put the jack stands under the rear jack points. That usually gives me enough room to get the jack under the front on the frame itself then I raise the front and put the jack stand under the front jack points. There are a few videos on TH-cam also where to find solid jacking points.

      This is pretty much a good way to do it also

    • @angreinhan3718
      @angreinhan3718 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Did you jack up the front using the plate? I used a plank of wood to raise it alittle so my jack can go under. I dont know when i installed the same coils you have that my jack would not have enought space to clear so i can remove it

    • @leugarage6327
      @leugarage6327  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, I just used the plate on the jack. I have a low profile jack so if you don't have a low profile jack, I suggest you use wood planks to help keep the car high enough to get the jack out. They sell some low profile ramps but honestly all you need is some wood planks and that will do the job for way less.

    looking to get these, was wondering how long it took you to install them? thanks!

    • @leugarage6327
      @leugarage6327  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Took about 1-2hours total... I didn't have to fight any rusty bolts so it was quick. If you have a good amount of miles on your car give yourself 2-4hours.

    • @leugarage6327
      @leugarage6327  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's been 2 years now of having them on the car, no complaints really. I scarpe a little when entering steep driveways but that is expected and I don't want to raise it. I'm happy with the ride height

    Hey brotha i have the same exact coilovers and i installed them with a buddy of mine, my dampening is on fully soft right now and it makes a squeaky noise, any suggestions or help

    • @leugarage6327
      @leugarage6327  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, it could be a few things, you will need to identify which side is squeaking...could be a bad bushing on one of the other suspension pieces on that side...also check preload to make sure its tight. Turn up the dampening a few clicks (3-6)to stiff to see if the noise goes away. My guess though is that you have a bushing starting to fail. Hope this helps...they got a few videos on youtube to test your bushings once you know which side you hearing the noise.

    Hey bro how do you adjust the rear coils

    • @user-cz5bp1gj4e
      @user-cz5bp1gj4e 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You just unlock the lower collar on the coilover and then turn the whole body of the coilover to the left (going towards the ground) to go lower or turn it to the right ( the whole body will be moving upwards) to raise the car. To unlock the bottom collar all you need to do it turn it from left to right --->

  • @zenki9116

    did you adjust them later?

    • @leugarage6327

      Not sure about exact measurements but went from a 3-4 finger gap to one finger gap all around.
