Signal Mirror Indicators installed on 2019 WRX

Today we are installing Signal Mirror indicators. When I did this, the kit was unavailable so I had to source all of the parts myself. The good news is that it looks like Subispeed is selling the kit again that has all of the parts I sourced together.
This will work for 2015-2020 Subaru WRX & STIs that are base or premium package.

Thank you for this video! I did the exact same thing for my 2016 Subaru Forester Premium. I took off one of my door cards to ensure my vehicle trim level came pre wired from the factory with turn signal mirrors.

Cool Im about to do this on my 4th gen Impreza, got the unpainted caps because it was never an paint option in deep cherry pearl so I might get them wrapped

Thanks for the video. I have this planned for my '19 base wrx. Uhgg, bought the wrong trim (live and learn) 😔. What's crazy is the OEM mirror turn light/lens (and nothing else) is $95ea ($190 pr) ☹️. Those SMY units look nice, but I really don't care for the sequential feature. If you got unpainted caps, could you have wrapped them w/vinyl?

update: re-watching, I feel a lot of struggle was editted out 🤔. I sourced a kit from fastwrx and it has much of the same parts you show in your video. It doesn't have the brand of the lights though, so they could be OLM, or SMY, or _____. I didn't trust the 4x screws in the kit, so I sourced 4x OEM screws from RallySportDirect. In hindsight, I might have done it a different way. I plan to wrap the caps w/VVivid PPF. Painting seemed to yield mixed results watching ppl online (adhesion promotor + paint + clear). Now I just need time.

The first link is probably all you need as that comes with everything including the actual indicator light. This kit didn't exist when I did the install, I had to look up all of the oem part numbers and bought all the parts separately. I wish it did, it would have made my life more simple lol
