    Thanks brother! I ordered a set for my 01 gf8 sport wagon. They checked all the boxes for me as well. Price point, adjustability (specifically the 6k/4k rate availability, and the tallest setting @ -0.1"). And Japanese quality! Other than the Feal max travel 441+, there really were no other "mild" coilovers. These flex z's come in under half the price of the feals, with all the same features, minus some travel. 💪👍

    *I have Flex Z's on a 2nd Gen Lexus GS300 12k front 10k rear, and they are perfect for the in-between of comfort, daily, spirited, and track driving. They really show their potential when going fast.*

      Are they really good for the track? For around $1000, it’s almost too good to be true and a reputable brand at that. I’m looking at the Cusco and meister R in around the same price range.

      You also have a boat 😂. So, good choice on your part for selecting the 10-12k springs on your ride. Your springs are an equivalent to 6-8k spring installed on a lighter car like EK as an example.

    Tein is a Japanese company. The correct pronunciation is "T-ay-n" rhyming with "sane". Thanks for the awesome review though!

      @Descipleofchrist101 Not sure what you decided to go with, but each car setup is different. My Flex Z's for a 2nd gen gs300 are 12k front, 10k rear, and I use them for tracking and daily driving without a problem!!! I prefer the stiffer ride.

    • @leugarage6327
      @leugarage6327  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey, not sure what your asking here as I cover this in the video. If you're asking what is the point of installing any coilover, then there are tons of videos that explain that better. Long story short, this suspension has better handling than stock for the price range.

  • @SNORKYMEDIA
    @SNORKYMEDIA 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    thinking of fitting these to my Lexus ISF, my reason though is make the suspension SOFTER - the ISF is ridiculously stiff and I want it more compliant - would these work do you think? the TEIN spring rates are softer than Lexus stock ones so if I can then soften up the shock rate a bit it may work..

    • @leugarage6327
      @leugarage6327  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey, yeah no real issues when I got it aligned. I did buy some rear lower control arms so I can make negative camber. Once you stay between 0 and -2 you won't have any real tire wear or alignment issues. It's when you go for aggressive camber higher than -2, that's when you gonna have tire wearing too quick and unevenly

    Just installed these on my 18 STi and the front passenger side one squeaks over bumps. I'm new to coilovers. Is this normal? Does it go away?

    • @leugarage6327
      @leugarage6327  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, normally when you hear squeaks it's cause of dirt build up. Just double check that everything is nice and tight on the coilovers. Run it for a bit and see if it goes away. Could be another suspension part that is squeaking, especially when you lower a car.
