There is never any reason to shoot verticals if you have a good 4k or above camera you just convert it to portrait and do auto reframe in premier. Then you have the landscape to use on TH-cam/ websites and you don’t even have to sacrifice any image quality if your shooting in 4k just make sure you use wider focal lengths.

It is just depressing because I love the look of those massive horizontal videos and then I have to switch to this format that looks inferior in every way.

Maybe it would work with counterweights. maybe but looks like imma need those all 5 new samyang same size same weight v-af lenses

false....the Rs2 pro is able to mount a Sony a7Siii with a sony 24-70mm G master lens just fine with perfect balance as I did it for a client in Dubai. the vertical mount can help but you claim the gimbal isn't working, it does. and not in portrait mode, that bracket is plenty long enough

@@mypicturesbox 24 -70mm zoom lens works for most camera bodys like Sony and Canon. I'm running Canon r5C with the RF mount 24-70mm F2.8 works 100% on the RS2 Pro. it's on the limit with a light matte box.

In general or with this vertical setup? I managed to perfectly balance a EF 70-200 III with a R5C and some counterweights out of the box.

If you use RavenEye you can’t track in portrait or with vertical mount. RS3 is whack. I’ve also tried with a cage. It’s not possible.

But you used the rs2 and he is using the rs3 right? The rs3 is the successor of the rsc2 and not the rs2
