You're talking about Ronny Dahl.
Don't underestimate pizza-cutter tires. They are better off-road than what many people think.
Question for you........ Do you have to back up to it to get in it? Or do you wait until after dark to drive it so nobody sees you in something that UGLY?
I run 255/85r16 and love em
@@XXPS60don’t worry, L’il Buddy - somewhere out there, there’s a used Kia Soul with your name on it. A perfect match for you.
@@XXPS60 Some people use their wheels to do actual offroad. Other people go to the mall to show their wheels. Different things for different purposes.
@@valije So ........... Is it crowded at the mall?
Phenomenal!!! I had no doubt this would be a beast. Ben, you should do a separate video ranking each vehicle you have taken on this trail. I’ve been a long term follower & I know you have taken many vehicles down this off road trail. 4R, defender, bronco, wrangler, Land Cruiser, off trucks etc! I think that video will get tons of views. Probably will take some thinking & time, but will be an incredible video
Wow, Ben. Of all the reviews of the Grenadier's offroad capabilities, I liked your video the best. No over-editing, no nonsense, just blazing through the trail with a head mounted cam and giving us a visual of what it's like in the cockpit. Kudos!
Ben is speaking from the heart. I have owned a Grenadier since March 7th, 2024 and been off-roading twice. The Grenadier just seems to float over all the obstacles and is so smooth off roading you know that is where it wants to be. On road under 35mph, its a bit like a truck, however over 35mph its great on the road and for longer road trips. I highly recommend it. DaBull
Jiminy Cricket? I love it! (I’m 76 years old). 😊 Greetings from Greece, btw, where I off-road mildly my stock 2016 JGC Overland Trail Rated from April to October every year, while in the States I off-road, the rest of the year, my 2020 JGC Trailhawk (16 Jeep Badges of Honor so far and with the “trail scars” to show for it); heavily modified with armor front to back and underneath with 6Monkeys protective gear/armor.
I love your videos, Ben and do look forward to watching them daily. Kudos to you!
FYI, I am contemplating the purchase of either an INEOS Grenadier TrialMaster or Lexus GX550 Overtrail or Toyota LandRover/Land Rover. Sitting on the fence till I get back to the States in late October.
Also, are you talking of the Australian Canny of Canny Outdoors?
Great Job Ben , you are blessed with the ability to test a lot of vehicles. Can you do the same trail with the Lexus GX 550 Overtrail? It is really tough deciding between the Ineos Trial Master.
But for 90K? I think not
Love your reviews of Rams and now the Grenadier. The looks start to shine 🎉 keep it long 🎉
Any update on that CHECK ENGINE light?
Coming soon
Take the LC 200 on this course next - curious to see how it does with only a center locker.
Lucky do have dealer here in Colorado Springs. Went and looked at them they are awesome. If only not paying for kid's college. Amazed anyone still builds a vehicle like this.
Great review Ben, be nice if you had an outside camera view as well for next time.
Nice review, Ben. Saw it yesterday, then was out last night in my Grenadier, and some idiot with a Dodge Ram jacked up to the sky with massive tires (low profile of course, and sticking out about a mile on each side) on chromed out 22’s goes “why don’t you burn out,p***y?!” In a closed off parking lot. Gene pool pretty shallow is my guess. His mom is also his cousin or something. I think a lot of Americans just don’t quite get the Grenadier. They think “off-road” means one of two things: Baja racing at high speed and catching air, or rock-buggy madness. The Grenadier isn’t either of those - it’s an adventure utility vehicle. It’s got brute toughness so you can go off-road SOMEWHERE to SEE SOMETHING or DO SOMETHING. It’s tank tough and a super analog mechanical experience, but it’s designed to actually minimize the focus on the machine. It just bumps along, modestly, you take in the view, then get where you want - and know you’re getting back. I think we’ve lost our sense of that kind of modesty - the engine always has to be louder, the wheels always have to be bigger, the suspension always has to be higher - and we kind of forget why we wanted to go off-road in the first place. The lead designer of the Grenadier used the terms “faithful” and “friendly” in an interview a few years ago before the production rollout. A lot of people want “bad ass,” especially here in the US. The Grenadier is polarizing here - kids run down the street waving, old dudes look wistful, and monster truck bro’s cuss you out. It’s kind of in its own category.
this review would be so much better with a drone. In fact all your reviews might just be better with one. Watching you drive with the view out the front windshield has gotten old. The Grenadier has a lot left to prove before anyone says it's better than a jeep!
The Australian you mentioned who reviewed the Grenadier is Ron Dahl? He does great reviews, worth subscribing.
Ben your grenadier is a good off road vehicle like it
Very impressive demo, thank you. I have owned my Grenadier for over a year and am extremely happy with it.
What happened with the check engine check light?
I have driven an ineos and had high hopes but nope. So a stock jeep JL is similar but remember that any reasonable spec jeep will have adaptive cruise, lockers, leather and weighs less for a lot less money. I also found the steering was terrible. You can squeeze 35” or 37” tyres on a stock rubicon at a push. Add 20k of accessories and still likely have money to spare. I have also driven a new defender and it’s light years ahead of the Ineos. The ineos would be a great truck for 20k less retail.
Have you seen Jeep’s current pricing? V6 with 35s and leather is over $70,000.
OK, so the defender got caught on the same hill in snow?, How is that a fair comparison?
Ranger Raptor vs Grenedier. 60k vs 90k. Justify the 30k price difference. Also most of the stuff you're doing with the grenadier you could handle handily with a Rubicon Jeep or a Badlands Bronco for the price of the Ranger Raptor.
That thing is Badass I still want to buy one but this Braptor is burning a hole in my pocket
Try putting the transfer case in neutral! All real off road 4x4s will do it!
It only weighs 5800lbs btw. Good job BH!
Door jam sticker shows 6500
My door jam stickers do not show the weight. They show GVWR but not just the weight of my Grenadier. I might take it to a scale later if I start to care enough but all the press release info and Ineos information says 5800 to 6050 for the most part depending on options. Yours has the winch so that should put you at the further end of that.
Ben what are your monthly payments on this thing if you dont mind me asking ?
I don’t have any car loans
Got a Final Edition 392 on the lot now🤭 110k who wants it, last chance to get one🤭Red with the one touch, warn winch loaded up!
You get first shot at it Ben👍
Cool vehicle, but I don't think Jeep is in any trouble because of it.
Jeeps is in trouble for, other reasons
Nice
Hey, ben is this SUV a better buy than a jeep wrangler 392.???.
Depends on use
His answer is a cop out. The answer is no.
Wrangler has a longer wheelbase at 118
Phenomenal! Did you get the check engine light checked out at the dealer? What was the reason? Thanks!
I’ll give an update soon
@@BenHardyCarsThanks Ben!

What happened with the check engine light.
I’ll give an update soon
I will stay with Jeep equally equp.
Kinda click bait with that R.I.P...disappointed by the ambiguity ..and not much substance..👎
Clickbait bs thumbnail
I have had every jeep from my first car a 1980 CJ 5 to a JL except the YJ. I don’t have an opinion about what is a “better off roader”. But what I can say in stock form the Grenadier is 10 times the truck the Jeep JL was. So far the only car I’ve had that I wish I still did was my 1999 TJ manual 6 cylinder with 35” tires. Time and reliability will prove if the Grenadier is as good as I think it is.
Tommy doesn't understand the Grenadier... he just does not. He is good at reviewing a jeep.
Sorry….. he’s a moron, any TFL video he shows up on I shut off immedietly
Look, if things are getting bad for you I would be willing to kick in a few bucks for a haircut and cleanup. Also that POS you are riding in will never replace a Jeep!
Triggered much ? 🤣🤣🤣
