I like HD Breakout a lot. So, I went to visit a local HD dealership and they wanted to charge me a lot over MSRP. So, I eventually bought a 1/12 scale model and I have become a happy owner now ever since.
The Denver dealers are like that too. Website says click for price. You click and give your info and they call and tell you to come in. Closest price I got over the phone for a Street Bob and Standard was low 20s and high teens. Went and bought used and never looked back.
That's the best looking Breakout I've seen yet. Black and chrome is working for sure, some are almost too flashy. That is the sound all HD riders want-nice job.

I’ve got the same bike only with the woods performance 22 X cam kit in it making 113 129 at the tire With a compensator delete and a solid 30 tooth sprocket on front and it’s a blast
Thanks for the comparison. Its what I'm looking for. However, other than at "idle", does the bike sound noticeable louder while riding? I mean, it will cost about $2,000.00 or more to put cams in my bike.
Stuntmanmike is correct about the sound and ride below 2000 rpm. But, after doing an FP3 Autotune, it's a lot better. I'm told that the Dynavision is even better. But I'm real happy with my FP3.
@@glenngorman5957 Honestly, now that I have my my 475 upgrade + a professional dyno tune, it's only jerky (from a complete stop) if you don't apply throttle and slowly release the clutch (it is a fat cam after all). The second throttle is applied, the bike smooths out. There is HEAPS of torque all through the rev range, but it absolutely SCREAMS after 2500RPM. I could not be happier with my bike now. If anyone is on the fence....just do it, you won't be able to wipe the smile off your face.
What numbers did this set up produce? I have the same bike and pipes and was told by fuel moto I had to change them or it would run horrible with the 475 cam.
What is the real advantage in doing the swap? Do you gain power when on average? Does the bike have low torque loss? It seems to me that this kit throws the rpm cut at 1000rpm more than the original, right?
It really has allot to do with the tune, however you are close with the base numbers. Almost 1000 rpms through the power curve. Rev limits are adjusted accordingly usually.
It won’t vibrate any extra. Just the vibration frequency will be different at idle. The motor will still have the same balance as before. In order to change the vibration intensity you would have to modify or remove the balance shafts 😁

Video sound doesn't do the S&S 475c cam and V&H Big Radius pipes justice. Love my 114 M8 Fatboy with this setup. My neighbors hate it.

I love that sound! I've got the same set up and the 475 is currently being installed. How have you found the ride in the lower rpm range?
They sound awesome with the 475, it's real jerky at low rpm. But doesn't bother me too much👍
