  • This time I will show you a long forgotten recipe: Pishi - Tibetan Dumpling Soup. It's a Tibetan specialty that is quite rare to see nowadays. Only simple ingredients are needed. Instead of making a regular wonton soup, try this recipe instead!
    Ingredients:
    250g flour
    3 eggs
    100g minced beef
    1 green onion
    1 tsp soy sauce
    For broth:
    1.5 liter water
3 beef bones (or replace with chicken bouillon)
    spinach leaves
    salt
    sichuan pepper
    Music:
    Steesh - The Feelings
    iamalex - Fireplace

Thank you so much Palden la. I think you are much needed Teacher to diaspora Tibetans who can learn how to cook Tibetan cuisines at the same time can learn pure spoken Lhasa dialect as well as the cuisine’s names in Tibetan. Your video is so precious and great work, hence, young generation can learn Tibetan cuisines names with explanations. This is the way can keep our Tibetan cuisines and culture alive.🙏👍🙏

How come i never heard of this grt dish called Pishi. The most unique part of this dish among its siblings is that only egg is added in the dough. Got to keep the Pishi going..
