Now this truly is a BREATH OF FRESH AIR!! You are using a style that is seldom seen. Focusing on raw information versus the typical marketing hype, dealer promoting drivel is what I for one enjoy hearing. I was always aware that this video was being produced by a dealer but it never got in the way of your presentation. You are setting the standard of how dealers should be promoting their products in the future.

Good afternoon, Your channel is wonderful and unmeasurably informative. There is no substitute for knowledge. I am a Ford guy through and through. With that being said, I must admit, that Ford did a horrible job at clearly explaining options, packages and the particulars of each. I completed tons of research before purchasing, yet listening to and watching your video made it apparent that I missed quite a bit of very important information. I have an XL which has the STX package and 20 inch wheels. It is a 2 wheel drive with 331 locking differential. It has the 101A package. It is showing, on the MSRP sheet that the vehicle has the Trailer Tow Package. I really could use the tailgate LED. My truck has the camera on the tailgate but no LED. I would like to upgrade the vehicle. I didn't order it. I bought it off the lot....too impatient to wait for an ordered vehicle. I regret that. I had dialed up the exact vehicle that I wanted sent it to the dealership and didn't receive a reply from them. I went to the dealership after not receiving a reply and eventually purchased the one that I now have. My question is this. I would like to upgrade the truck so that it does have the tailgate LED along with the box LEDs and possibly Blis. It already has the 101A XL package and the MSRP sheet shows that it has the STX appearance package along with 3.31 electronic locking differential. It is a 5.0 liter. Is there anyway that I could upgrade to the desired items or am I stuck with what came from the factory. Also, I must say, I wish I had found your channel prior to making the purchase. I do, however, feel strongly that when it is time for a trade-in, your dealership will be at the top of my list with which to do business.

I bought a 2021 XL that came with the Trailer Tow Package for $1090. The XL does not include the LED tailgate light or the Pro Backup Assist with the 101A package so it seems that Ford charged me $1090 for the $200 class IV hitch and the $300 trailer brake. Am I missing something? One of Ford's documents on towing capacity says that you shouldn't tow more than 7000 lbs with only the class IV hitch and a towing package is required for higher capacity, but it doesn't explain why.

I want this configuration but a 2016 4x4 locker. I dont want: auto start stop, standard mirrors, white body paint, electronic parking brake, 10 speed tranny, transmission to put itself into park when you open the door, turbos, and i cant remember what else. oh and i refuse to pay over 15k. i'll wait. will be my DGAF 'wheeler'

Don't forget to add, these are the cheapest 3/4-ton pickups available. My 2019 XL 4x2, regular cab, short box. 5.0 has a GVWR 6,200 lbs. with a curb weight of 4,480 lbs. gives me a payload of 1,720 lbs. minus my fat @$$ of 200 lbs. gives me a 1,520 lbs. cargo capacity.

Wow, a car dealer actually showing off a base model. I can't find ANY dealerships within 500 miles of me right now even willing to talk to me about ordering a base, barebones F150.
Is there gonna be any difference between the 101A package and the 301A package on a regular cab xl?
There isn't a 301A package on the XL trim, only the 100A and 101A.
What upgrades would you absolutely recommend on the F-150 XL (cheapest model)?
101A Equipment Group is a real good value and adds some great convenience features

Good question, I haven't researched that. I assumed it was the headlights but not sure.

do you mean the auto 4x4 system (2-speed) instead of the 4x4 on the XL? If so, Lariat and above

I also should mention $50,000 Canadian is probably around $40,000 USD
