Correction: With the Max Trailer Tow Package, it is not available with the 18" Chrome Wheels (64T). So you can get the Max Trailer Tow Package with a 500A or 501A with the 18" wheels but it you order a 502A you will be required to add the 20" Chrome Wheels or 20" Sport Wheels.
Nice catch, if you don't have the 502A and don't have the 18" chrome wheels then you can add the max trailer tow package with the 18" alloy wheels. I will pin a comment to let people know. Thanks!
I've seen some have brown soft touch in the top interior panels of the doors and some have a grey/black like the one in your video. How do you know which one you'll get? I ordered a 501a black leather with console.
🤔No 2-door Lariat yet.?. How long do the blend door actuators work? 3 have failed on my 2012 Raptor…. $30 part & $500 to $1500+ in labor👀to replace 😳 Did Ford address this problem🧐on the newer trucks? 🤔What say you.
One thing I think is worth mentioning is the front parking sensors. I may have missed it in the video, but 2021 502A did not include front sensors, I think you needed to add the 360 cam to get them. Now i am noticing even on '22 non 360 cam 502a's you get the 4 front sensors as the 6 front sensors are indicative of the bluecruise active prep. Nowhere on any of the build options does it say you get front parking sensors with 502a but looking at all the trucks for sale, and a couple of videos, it seems you get front sensors with 502a now. A big change from 2021 that I think gets overlooked. Please correct me if i'm mistaken!
@@longmcarthurford I'm no expert but the truck in your own video doesn't have active prep (no sensors on the A pillar on the interior shot) only has 360 cam and standard 502a assist, but has 4 front sensors, bluecruise active prep has 6. Here's a second video that has no BC active, no 360 , but has 4 front sensors. th-cam.com/video/PEAPrhOiL2Q/w-d-xo.html And a third video with no BC active, no 360 , but has 4 front sensors. th-cam.com/video/lxa2qMCU0PA/w-d-xo.html In my findings, the 502A adds 4 front sensors, regardless of 360 cam, or active prep. @@MoveOverMotors Thank you for pointing it out, Ford gives us an Order Guide and they do not have the Front Sensing included in the 502A equipment but you are correct. We just received a 501A that does not have it sensors at all. And just as you said 360 Active with BC and APA would have 6 sensors not 4 like the truck in the video. So it must be a feature included in the 502A that Ford missed adding to our Order Guide.
Hi Tim. You pointed out that although Lariat 502A comes with Co-Pilot 360 Assist 2.0, which requires 360 camera package, the 360 camera package is not included. What happens if you order a Lariat High (502A) but do not add Tow Tech or 360 camera? Would this render all or some of the Co-Pilot 360 Assist features useless?
360 camera is not required on 502a but it is required to add when getting it as optional on the 500a or 501a. You would still have the functionality of it.
Hi Tim. I noticed this Lariat does not have LED Box Lighting which was standard on all Lariat trim levels in 2021. Is it true that you now have to add the Bed Utility Package to get LED Box Lighting on 2022 Lariat, even 502A. The Ford website still lists it as a standard feature for Lariat models
@@patrickl1621 I have a similar build on a ‘21 Lariat and my sticker is 1738. How come the all black appearance package is not available for the 6 1/2 and 8 foot box lengths? Plus the exterior mirrors stand alone option is no longer available on the configuration page, why is that?
not sure why the black appearance package isn't available in long bed, it's always been that way. The mirror option should be available once you add the trailer tow package and max trailer tow package.
