Another weird thing, just had this playing in the car on way back from mams. Then lo and behold this pops up as soon as I come in. Twice that's happened! Great song that I knew you would appreciate....bit of everything in there! Two suggestions from me that I've asked for before....Liar the live version at either Hammersmith or Rainbow (Johns bass skills shine forth) and Jealousy for Freddies yet again sublime vocals. Thanks for this one David. 💕💕💕

This is the video that was edited to remove the explosion that blew Roger Taylor off his seat and off his drum riser. Note to self: never shoot pyrotechnics off in a bucket behind your drummer! Maybe those brown leather pants saved the day 😆 he got back up and they finished the video.

Hi David...Alaine your Alien Australian friend here. Hope you are keeping well, and that you are enjoying your epic Queen journey. Still so much more for you to discover, like obscure bootlegs 'Kimono my House' & 'Duck Soup' and lesser known 'B Sides'. Hope to catch up with you on one of your Live Chats again...here's hoping.

Only a hit in Japan David! It was the beginning of their special relationship with their Japanese fans ! When Queen touched down in Japan it was like" beatle mania" as for the black sabbath influence ! Yes David! Brian made many guest appearances for sabbath when they were playing live! This is their first song on their first album written by Brian! Great reaction David, thanks mate!

Yes, Michael! Watching video made of that first trip to Japan, they all look astonished! And Freddie fell right in love with Japanese culture and went back just to shop! Brian later wrote Teo Toreatte in tribute to their steadfast Japanese Fans.

What you are seeing in music of the 60's and 70's is called The Age of Aquarious. It is a time period of enlightenment and the impact of this age was a major influence on music and artistic talent was at a historical significance very high level. The mega concert at Woodstock in 1969 had a major influence on the future of music. Mega bands and mega talent in this concert shaped the future of music for certain.

Great song from the early days written by Brian. I love the guitars in this song. Thank you. Often times the strings and horn sounds that Brian produces are dong with the Deacy Amp, so perhaps that is what that is.

This is very early Queen. Yes it was off there first album, Queen and even then you could hear the beginnings of the Queen we know and love. To me this is one of me favorite stages in their career.

Love this song and the live version in Montreal is pretty darn good!! Queen’s first single released in ‘73 .. the B side was Son & Daughter. It failed to chart so it was re-released as the non-album B-side of Lily Of The Valley ‘74. In 2008 Keep Yourself Alive was #31 in Rolling Stone’s The Greatest Guitar Songs Of All Time. 👏👏👏👏

David, I've never seen anyone react to La Japonaise from the Barcelona album. It's really quite beautiful and partly sung in Japanese. This one has lyrics in both Japanese and Engish: th-cam.com/video/WcaV0eS0xtc/w-d-xo.html

Did you know, those famous sounds that came from Brian's guitar that differentiated the band from others, was because of the famous Deacy Amp....the DC Amp. John Deacon was an electrical engineer and made the Amp from components he found in a skip. !! It has taken years for people who wanted to try and recreate that Amp to still find out what those components were..they were from old radio believe it or not. I still don't think they have managed it today!!! Shouldn't even be trying to rip off John Deacons Amp any way in my opinion.
