This one is more calming and not as piercing. I like it. I'm in the stage of realizing this might never go away and it scares me so bad, I suddenly realized I need to be the person I always wanted to be. No more thinking things and not saying or doing them because relationships matter, people matter. I am so scared, because this ringing is so loud and there's no cure, that I woke up the other day crying and realized my life changes now. I stopped vaping, I am drinking more water and plan to eat as healthy as I can. I want more time in this world with my kids and I am living on hope that the damage to my brain will get better or that one day an effective treatment will come out.

Bro if I didn’t know any better I’d say I wrote your review and just don’t remember it! My tinnitus has gotten worse over the last week for no apparent reason, so I decided to give up vaping, caffeine, and alcohol all in one shot. Starting to eat healthier and try and lose as much weight as I can. Really hoping all these things will quite my tinnitus. Stay strong brother!

I discovered it a couple of days ago. I am still in despair that there is such a disease and there is no cure for it. Life sometimes throws cruel blows at you. I haven’t been to the doctor yet, but I hope there is at least some small hope.

What's funny about this, is that crickets are what I hear AS my tinnitus. I hear pretty much this video all day and night.
When I play this, or other cricket vids, I end up hearing the traditional constant tone in the background, that I normally don't hear.

Hey Ben, very useful for sleeping with my tinnitus, thank you! However the sudden absence of sound triggers my PTSD, and I find myself waking up in blind panic, reaching for a weapon that I no longer have, to repel boarders from a vessel that sank years ago.
Could I suggest a fade out as standard on these tracks? It's a small detail, I know, but it makes a big difference to a few of us, so if you could bear this in mind for future content it'd be thoroughly appreciated, many thanks.

I have to agree with you on this one. As soon as the recording ends, my mind knows it, and I wake up immediately. So I generally look for recordings that last longer, unless I just want a short nap, then I choose short recordings.

This is a little more soothing than than the full on cricket recording. Whilst that was good at masking the noise it became somewhat overpowering after 15 minutes. This is better and whilst i am still aware of the tinnitus listening to this i am less focused on it. This is great recording.

Dr. Ben, this is the best and most soothing sound therapy I've found for my tinnitus. How can I get a 10-version of this so that I can use it when I sleep? That would be so helpful. The other crickets are somehow different and don't work as well for me. I think I've already commented on one of your videos that your channel has been very helpful to keep me from being as anxious about my tinnitus and for information on how to handle it. I have unilateral hearing loss with tinnitus and wear a hearing aid with masking (Oticon Real 1). Thank you!

The first night I used this it drowned out the Tinnitus perfectly, but the sound itself was distracting so it was harder to sleep.
The second night however it was much easier to fall asleep.
And each night since its been natural to fall asleep with this playing.
Give this at least a couple nights, its allowed me to get much needed rest!

Okay, I read somewhere about using crickets for tinnitus. I was using rain, thunder and lightning, but that didn't work. For the first time last night, I tried the crickets. The buzzing was much lighter while I was listening to them, and I dozed off to sleep. I'm in a quiet room right now and for the first time in a very long time, I'm not hearing the buzzing except for a very slight kind of humming, which is hardly detectable at all when I'm reading or watching TV. I am so excited! I can't wait to share this in my tinnitus support group. Thank you for sharing your crickets! 🦗

That's great and big relief. I have now again tinnitus after 12 years remmission achieved by TRT therapy so guys, it's doable. Now it came back after super stressed, long period of time. I hope I can beat it again 🙏 is it possible to make longer such sound?

ok, depending on H and T this can sometimes work, but is not long enough. I have gone thru all of the others at various times. I've used whatever works depending on the situation. I would sign up again with treble health but live off social security at this moment and cannot. also to whoever said make it loop in your settings...could you explain where the setting are especially for a phone or a roku tv???

Hi, I can't remember the name of the website but if you search sound pillow you'll find there are many. If you do find one make sure it has a volume control and check where the speakers have been placed. It took me a while to find that the speakers have been placed on each side, I would have preferred them to be more centre. Wishing you all the best with your search.

Hello, Thank you for the videos, they have been very useful to me.
I started with Tinnitus about 30 years ago, after a year I was left with a small, imperceptible ringing. At that moment I put myself in the hands of an acupuncturist.
A month ago my tinnitus came back very aggressively. On this occasion I was prescribed Gingko Biloba to improve blood circulation in the brain and an anti-inflammatory for the ear area. At the same time, a physiotherapist massaged my neck to help relieve tension. In just three weeks I have improved a lot. I hope my experience can help someone. In my case, tinnitus has always come from stress.

I just wanna know if it is somatic tinnitus and can it be cured? Or I have to live with it.(its too loud)

I find I can't play this sort of thing. I keep crickets for my exotics. The crickets seem to get 'unsettled' and not in a good way. So do my exotics, maybe thinking so much food and I can't get at it? Never for a moment did I consider this could be an issue when deciding on whether to buy my pets or not! 😅
